Thanks, I'll keep posting about Meryl till she's cured, Naomi is starting to develop nicely, so I'll keep this thread alive til she's finished. I'll be growing Vanilla Kush or Super Silver Haze on my next grow

Meryl just came down. I bought a microscope and from what I can see about 2/3 of her hairs are orange and about half of the trichomes are turning amber. Chopped her down and she's drying right now. I'll be making butter with the trim and from what I can see I'll pull at least an oz from her.

Smoke report on the bud that came down early: It's dry enough to snap the stems now, but pbviously needs more curing time. It's got a very pungent aroma. If you've ever had a strain called Cat Piss it's kind of like that. The taste is really hashy, with a very strong earthy taste as well. The high is awesome. Nice and strong, but not too overpowering. Great for wasting hours on video games.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been crazy busy lately.

Meryl and Naomi are both harvested and ready to smoke.

Meryl harvested BIG. Off this one plant I got about 1.5 oz dry. It's super hashy with a strong earth/classic skunk aroma. All the homies love it. I just moved to this area, and I guess good herb is an uncommon thing here.



A pretty good haul for my first time. The high is really stoney. Skunk's indica roots are very clear, but it starts off with a nice uplifting head high.

Sad news: I got notice that my landlord is doing inspections of my apartments for building code and cleanliness standards, so I had to chop Naomi down. I'll be spennding the rest of the week airing out my place and destroying evidence. On the plus side, I got some herb.



It only dried out to about 14 grams, but the nugs are nice and dense. I like this as a good creative bakground high. It probably would have been stronger if I chopped later, but what are ya gonna do?

Anyway, thanks for joining my first grow evar. I'll still be posting around, but I'll be waiting on my next grow for a while. Don't think I'm not excited about it.

Damn! I read throu all the posts in your thread, and it was more than inspiring! I hope my babies will be at least half as beautiful as Meryl.

LMAO you are not the only one that's for sure. I'm horrible about starting a project, getting halfway through then getting all excited on another project leaving the initial project abandoned for months. Case in point I have a MAME arcade that I started building 2 years ago. The cabinet works and I can play all of the games etc.. but I have been meaning to do all of the "finishing touches" to it for about a year now lol. I also have had new speakers for my car sitting in the box in my trunk since I started growing, It would take me all of two hours to remove the rear deck / door panels to install them all but I never get around to it. I think growing is going to stay on track though (hopefully).
