My First Grow - Super Lemon Haze

OOoh! SLH! I love Greenhouse Genetics. A grower's dream. I have some Super Lemon Haze seeds for my next batch of mothers. If you really like this strain, I suggest you check out their Hawaiian Snow.

Keep plugging away. And go easy on the waterings :)
 
With 2 weeks left I would not hesitate to top her 2 nodes down or even just one. That will have the lower branches up and keep the stretch even instead of One Stretch way high.
 
They are feminized.

@Golden: I'm using 2 of the plants as mothers should I top those also? Or just top the weaker ones i'm going to flower??

Depends on what you want. Some people top their mothers when planning to train or "bonsai" them. Are you planning to root-prune and keep for a while? Topping is usually not advised when looking for a female in non-feminized seeds. Any stress is bad when you're hoping for a good female to male ratio.
 
Yeah there currently being root pruned by air and light. I was planning on keeping the mothers for awhile and creating a SoG.
 
Thats a real question there, to top or not to top MOM. Really depends on how high she is getting . I guess I would not top her until I knew her time for mothering is almost up, then I would top her and give her 2 weeks before 12/12

I'm going to go with GoldenGanja here. I would just let her rock out. Once she's burly enough for her first good round of cuttings, top her. Leave a healthy amount of fan leaves and she will bounce back. From there, you'll be fine to tug and yank her any way you need if space is an issue.

Space is not an issue.. 2 Mom's are going to have a 4x4 flood tray to get as big as they would like...

I'm really excited 2 put the 2 other plants into a 12/12 .... Just so I can get a good feel for how they develop in flowering... 2 more weeks!
 
i topped my slh. EARLY. 15 days early. she wont be a MOM mom, i mean all i want is 4 good clones, and then thats it, another week or 2 after the cuttings and shes going into flower. this pic was taken on sunday.
i figure why let her grow stem? i want tops. buds. potential clones.... just my 2 cents:mrgreen:

After reading a good bit on topping, I made the decision to top all 4 this morning..... I am going to make good use of my large flood area and get some big strong healthy clones off my beasts!! I am extremely interested to see
the 2 shoots come up!!
Cloning time as of the 27th!

Update: Learned it was under watering.. the rock wool was bone... So I watered her and i'm going to wait till later this evening to see if she gained in vigor.

I had someone experienced tell me not to over water the SLH. The rain recently caused my pineapple express and SLH limped out like you are describing. It seams to be very sensitive not only to nutrients; but to water as well. I was told to let it dry out more than other strains. At this point I would have to agree with that.
 
Guys, my GF took my Camera while she's gone on her trip to England.. But do I wish I could ever show you the most recent pictures of my girls...

The fan leaves feel amazing super full and just really strong, also they got a little shine to them, the nodes at the top are now growing out where I topped them, but
during the last few days she got PHAT... I'd say at least 4-6 inches wider on each plant.

The roots are super strong too, there stuffing out the bottom of the containers with that white fuzzy goodness.
So no root rot over this way!

Anyways i'll try to get a camera... Cause today i'm one proud papa!!

Still on Lucas, with H202, a Dash of CalMag and HydroZyme..
(Gonna not use CalMag after the next rez change and i go 100% str Lucas.)
 
Plants are all showing pre sex flowers... all female no hermies yet!

The topped nodes are growing strong now, and i'm going to have to get some twine to hold them up I think.
 
ok... here we are..... 2 Months from seed.... and its time to clone the bottom half of these 3 ft plants... Im going to flower these in a DWC... in a 10 ft room... and super crop em.. Today... on both kola's!!

Wish me LUCK! im going to need it...

Also... the clones are getting there own little room and i'm going to post pictures of the process!

Hopefully in 3 weeks ill have enough for another lumatek 1000w Ballast!

SO guys... I havent posted picks in about 1 1/2 weeks... so.. ill do this today... My land lord came over yesterday to inspect the house, so I had to dissemble the Ebb n Flow system... I would of had to anyways cause the girls were getting too large.
So Im working on making a Rdwc... ITs going to be epic. I have them in a normal DWC right now, and ill take pictures of now post them and then add more pics of the recirculating.

Also, I took 98 clones from my girls... and 66 took root! Woot!!!
Time to have some fun!!
