My first grow

Also I would grow some coriander in the same area as your cannabis, it works as a good deterrent for spider mites and other pest, the smell of the herb repels them.
Okay cool I'll have to go get some before the Superbowl starts. Do you know if they would have a small coriander/cilantro plant for sale there or would I most likely need to grow it myself? Im on the east coast so I'm sure it's out of season in stores

What's up guys, just wanted to give a quick update. From what I can see the spider mites problem has improved drastically. I've only seen one mite with my own eyes and the only patch of webbing I've seen since applying the insecticidal soap was only about the size of a quarter. I'll probably do one more application in a day or so just to be sure. I've also started attempting to grow coriander in the grow tent and threw some of the coriander seeds on top of the soil around my plants because fuck it why not? Overall I feel like they're making great progress, there's a few leaves on the girl scout cookies that are looking pretty miserable but it still looks fairly healthy in my opinion. Let me know what you guys think!

Thank you for the update!
If possible I would dig out the coriander that you planted in the same pot as the cannabis.
Coriander is a fast growing herb and could block light and steal nutrients and water from your girls.

I didn't actually plant any in the pots with my cannabis plants i just have them sitting on top. I'll take them out though I wasn't positive that that was a good idea lol

Oh ok. Just plant them in separate pots and that should help ward off future bug problems.

I'm happy things are getting better for your grow!
Thanks I appreciate it. You guys have been really helpful. Hopefully they'll make it through harvest. The quality of bud where I live is not good lol it's usually either dry or just straight mids. I'm excited to get to where i have my own steady supply of high quality bud

Day 24, Still noticing mites here and there in the soil, but nothing on the plants. Hopefully a couple of more applications will take them out completely. It definitely improved the situation though.

wait a few days or do it now, either way its potentially going to be stressed from the bugs and the training even with LST but it looks great im glad your bug free!

I decided to just get rid of some of the big water leaves that were kind of branched off by themselves. I think for this first grow I'll just try to keep it as simple and natural as possible and not mess with LST for now IMG_20200207_132622459.jpg
