My First Grow

so today is the day i hopefully start my grow, as long as i can get my hands on clones .. ive decided that im going cheap with 6 CFL bulbs ( curly ones ) for the first month n a half ... then im gonna switch to a couple of HPS outdoor security lights. the plants will be grown in soil, but im curious if this is gonna give me a problem with spider mites ? and what kind of nutrient product would people recommend ? any other advice for an inexperienced grower ?

Get the highest wattage u can.. walmart has 40 watt $12.00 but get them under the hps as soon as u can or all together

Spray your plant every week with a soapy bug spray.

well, like i said i doing a cheap set up, i went to home depot and got everything i need . but the question is .... Are philips Daylight CFL any good, they say there 60w - 15w, and put out 950 lumens, i got 6 of them ... or i got two 90 w philips halogen 2000 flood, HPS i beleive .. what lighting should i go with ?
