I forgot to mention i had topped two of my plants previously & I have now switched my lights to 12/12... still no signs of sex yet but im hoping for the best! & theres also a new seedling in the mix which will be grown 12/12 from seed

I have also started using the grandma's molasses. I used it for the first time during my last watering before i switched to 12/12 and will be either every watering or every other

I decided to stop the 12/12 a while back and have just been letting them do there own thing and watering ofcourse.
Before i flip i want to put them in larger containers and get an actual light for them but with keep some cfls for supplemental side lighting...
Not too many problems but overall this has still been a good learning experiment/grow for me!

I'm new at growing too. I read somewhere that 12/12 plants for a few days gets that explosion of growth and if you turn back to regular summer hours it is a way to bulk up the plants without vegging as long (it looks like your plants grew nice under CFLs for a month) and then following with a pot transplant is a good thing. So it might work out well for you. But again I'm new.
Did you see signs of sex before rethinking lights?

That's the best way I can think of to get hermaphrodites. Once you go 12/12 you don't go back. just let it flower.

Honestly your plants look good. I would go ahead and flower them out because the longer dark period might have already upset vegetative growth. You should flower now to avoid hermaphrodites and mutated growth. CFL bulbs can only support a very small plant. If you veg too long you could ruin your yield. Flower now and you could do well. If you want to you can buy a 400 watt hps for flowering. If you want I can recommend something. I have been growing indoors for quite a while even though my profile here might not reflect that.

Didnt know it would cause that, i remember reading that someone had switched to 12/12 to force sex and then went back to veg out their plants longer but i will switch them back asap when i get to the house.
So which light or what kind should i get for them?

could you just add a few more CFLs under the top canopy? i have mine similar, with real close plant dates as well, i planted mine from bagseeds on dec 3rd. after i found out light penetration may be a problem i rounded up a few bulbs around the house i had and put a few lamps with splitters so i have 6 original bulbs hanging from 3 splitters w/bowl reflectors(2 on each fixture) and 3 from below-2 bulbs on a splitter on an extender and one in the lamp itself.

What do you mean 'stop 12/12'?
Do you mean reveg?
Why?
CFL's will do fine.
Here's one of mine, 14 days veg.Jan 20 ECSD 112 days old.jpg

.My indoor one last year under CFL's, I got 2 3/4 oz. cured from it with a 30 day veg.

Yes thats what i was referring to because they hadnt seem to be making that switch to start flowering in my eyes & i was thinking maybe that was my problem- the lighting... but i put them back on the 12/12 and added more cfls. Hopefully i didnt cause to much harm to the plants durring those couple of days.

Well today it was revealed that i have 3 females.. 1 turned out to be male (got rid of him) so 3 out of 4...not so bad id say

Also i now have a total of 498 watts of cfl, i think the extra bulbs really did help. I plan to add more once i get some more y splitters.

& i also picked up some of fox farms tiger bloom and big bloom

Keep an eye on your PH with that FF stuff.
When I use it, I don't use any PH down, and my tap starts out at 7.9 most of the year.

Well my girls have been through alot lately but im determined to finish my FIRST GROW.

Just to recap:
-12/29/13 i switched to 12/12 but decided to turn them back to there vegging cycle on the 31st.
-1/23/14 i made my last and final switch to flower my plants, hoping that 12/12 earlier didnt do to much damage if any
-1/26/14 SEX was shown 3 girls

Unfortunately i had to relocate my girls and there not really in the most ideal place but it had to be done. My garage. Havent been monitoring the temps but it gets pretty cold in there while the lights are off. They are now only under 317 watts/cfl.

The girls are currently recovering from a little :-) trim job underneath. Two of them seem okay but one didnt take it to well but it should be ok.

Same water/nute mix (watered down) that i feed my larger ladies.

Originally threw them in there for fun but is it possible to use them as clones and put back into in veg

Looking good. Don't be afraid to get those lights closer, as long as you have good airflow, the proximity of the bulbs to the buds when there flower is everything...
In my experience using similar setup/soil, I could usualy go a month without feeding. Once they start flowering they'll start to look bad quick... Good luck sir.
