My first harvested nugget!

Well I'm on the road to my first full harvest!

I snuck a hit or 3 from the lower popcorn around Christmas & New Year's. However, this is the first real bud I've clipped from my inaugural grow. This was one of the canopy buds from the plant, there is 1 more about the same girth as this one, and then there's 4 PHAT colas that are still ripening. I only clipped it down as far as I thought it was ripe, so there's a good amount still left on that branch.

I figure the rest of the plant is going to need another week to ripen, maybe two. I hope its not that long though, the wait has been testing my patience. I haven't bought a bag since before Turkey Day...although it looks like this nug should hold me over once it dries. (I don't think its going to get much of a chance to cure )

Speaking of, any thoughts on how long this will take to dry out? I'm gonna leave my PC on, and let one of the exhaust fans blow warm air over it.

I'm thinking this will be more of a cerebral high from this one, as it's all milky trichs, very few amber.

So what do y'all think of my first nugget?

It looks great. Just think of how good you'll feel inside when you smoke your first bud you grew yourself. Congratulations you did a very nice job.

Should dry in 24 hours with warm air over it. The best way I've found for a speedy dry is a jar with holes pierced in the lid, and placed on a sunny window.

and yes a day or so in a warm place (I use a bowl on the heater/radiator) and it will be ready to smoke, tho it will taste "green" but looking at the thricomes Im sure you get high, and that is what its all about

Nice Job... I'm right where you are with my 1st grow.. I can't wait either to harvest !!!! I'm very close from the way the trichs are starting to look on my girl. About time to clip a nug for testing
