Hey everyone, I've been posting my pics in the wrong forum so I decided to start a journal to keep everything in order. Plus I want to keep track of my plants while they flower and get as much input from other growers as I can. Feel free to post comments, any help will be +appreciated!
Technically this is my third grow, but my last two were failures due to one plant turning out male and the other one dying from bad soil/lighting. This time I decided to do it right, I started by purchasing beans and a HPS lamp online, then I payed a visit to my local hydro store and the rest is ancient history
I'm growing 6 Pure Power Plant from nirvana, I started with 10 seeds but 2 never sprouted and the other 2 never grew their first set of leaves so I pulled em. I'm using a 250w HPS so 6 plants is perfect for the amount of space/light coverage. They are growing in FoxFarm OceanForest soil with Age Old Organics grow/bloom liquid fertilizer, epsom salt and bat guano, organic baby! I'll also be using mollasses when the time is right.
I started feeding when they were 13 days old, 1/4 strength grow nutes and 1/4 tbsp epsom salt in a gallon of water. I haven't used the guano yet, FFOF soil has some in it already but I plan on using it soon.
Enough rambling, time for the pics!
This is when they were 12 days old, the night before I started feeding. There's only 5 plants in the pic because I had one plant that was growing retarded so I FIMmed it right above the 2nd set of leaves. The smallest plant sprouted 1 day later than the rest, and it's also stunted from being in a small pot.
This is the stunted plant from the first pic at 3 weeks 1 day, it caught up with the rest of them now it's one of the best looking
This is the missing plant from the first pic, it has 4 main colas. 2 are growing nicely, the other 2 are small but slowly catching up.
This plant was growing super tall, twice the height of the rest of the plants (I think it's male) so I topped it above the 4th set of leaves. It's a little skinny but starting to bush out.
This was the shortest plant with the fattest stalk and leaves, so I transplanted it into a bigger pot and started some minor LST training.
This is the canopy, I'm keeping the plants real close together so they get optimum lighting.
Well, let me know what you think! I'll post more pics with better lighting in a couple days right before I switch to 12/12.
