my first indoor grow ever LOTS of questions

alright i decided to start my first grow ever i dont have any equipment yet
ill be buying

this 600w lamp

I'll be using the "Canna Terra professional grow mix" and would like to grow 4 plants in 5 gal pots in the tent.
Whatelse do I need beside the seeds, am I good to go like that?
Do i need any extra nutes for the soil or can I use it for the entire grow?
During the flowering stage does the light have to be turned on 18/6?
How often do I have to water also how do I see if the plant needs water, if the soil is dry?
Do I need an extra fan in the tent?

These would be my first questions thanks in advance, if somethingelse comes to my mind ill ask you guys

A small circulating fan on the floor would be nice...
Nutes depend on the plant, but the straight soil should be good for awhile in the beginning... (jacks classic from the local nursery will work ok, but you can get more expensive pot-centered nutes if you want)
I wouldn't start the seeds under the 600w, use flouro's for that...
Veg can be between 14-24 hours of light...
More light = more growth.. So 24hrs at first, and a switch to 18/6 untill you decide to flower..

Flowering usually starts with anything below 14, but 12/12 is the moneyshot....

You also need ph and tds testers....

It is IMPOSSIBLE to grow the seedling under the 600w lamp or does it work out? I don't really want to buy another lamp will be spending alot of money
for this already might get one in the future.
So basically if it does work I can just let the lamp turned on 24/7 untill I start flowering right?
When do I know it's time to flower? Once the plant reached a decent height? I heared 1 gal = 1 foot so in my case it would be 5 foot?
Also can I put the seedlings once they opened into the 5 gal pots straight?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm still new to this.

Nah, plants need sleep too... After a few days switch to 18/6 from 24/0...

Fresh new seedlings need to work their way up to a 600w'er fucking them in the face....
Get a cheap aquarium "tube" light.. or some CFL's (the spiral bulbs)...

The plants will stretch 2-3 times their height when they flower, so in a 6.5 foot tent you'll have 1.5' for the bucket, 1ft for the light/reflector and 1-1.5 ft between the plants and the light....
So 6.5 - 4 = 2.5-3 ft for the plants.... So I wouldn't flower anything much bigger than a foot....

You might also want to consider doing a SCROG.

Wait untill the 3rd set of leaves before transplanting.

Water when the soil is dry (top few inches), watering too often isn't good (The roots need oxygen.)

can I do scrog with 4 plants? also do I keep the seedlings in rock wool till they grow their 3rd pair of leaves?

Sure you can do a Scrog with 4 plants..You can even do it with 1 if you like.
As far as transplanting. Do it when they are well rooted.

Here is a pic of a SCROG with 4 plants I did before.

Except, unlike those engineer-want-to-be's, you aren't so F'ed.

Check out the stickies in the main forums. Watch a basic growing video like a Jorge Cervantes instructional or something (free via torrent or youtube).

This site is certainly a place for questions. It has helped me greatly. However, there is a certainly level of expected knowledge through even mediocre research before bombarding a bunch of questions that have literally been answered some where on the order of once per day, if not more, for years.

Get a real fan. I have the same tent for veg. Like a 430 for the 600 watt.
