My first indor grow. ( Will keep pics updated. )

ere is my 1st grow. The starins are Dumpsters and BC Big Bud. I have them on a 400 watt HPS. My soil mixture is 50% fox farm and 50% peatmoss.

Here they are as babbies. As you can see the fox farm soil was a little to much for them and they started to curl up.

Here are pics from 12-16-08. I had to flush my babies to get them to stop curling. These are about 1 week after a good flushing. But as you can see there recovering fine and growing healthy! There is also a pic of my 400 watt HPS. No food has been introduced yet! That fox farm soil is very rich soil.

Time for budding!! These pics are from 12-21-08. They have been budding 8 days now. Cant see the hairs yet cause there still way to small. But i can see them with a magnifying glass. There all female as far as i can tell. I got my seeds from a guy whos been growing for years and he had some feminized ones for me. God there beautiful! More pics to come!!! :weed:

Well here they are 16 days into budding. Looking pretty and smelling great! When i come into my house thats all i smell. :weed:

Ok guys heres an update. I have recently moved my plants into a grow tent. Its a budbox not a dark room. I set it all up got inside and had my girlfriend zip it up. Mine was totally light tight. So that was a plus. I went to lowes and bought a 30$ bathroom fan and hung it in the middle of my tent i ran some 4" air ducts to a vent leading outside. I dont have a fresh air intake because i dont believe i need it at this point. But if i do it will be a simple process besause i am in a basement now. Anyways heres the updated pic of them in my tent and this will be there 3rd week of budding. Id really enjoy everyones input as im a newbie! Thanks

just a weird question man why dont you take the vent and hook it to your light reflector it will keep the bulb cool so it will last longer and probably remove more heat. Just a thought, looks good tho. Keep up the good work!

Well with it bn in my basement it stays cool reguardless. Temp in there is around a constand 64 and humidity is about 50% i dont think i want it any cooler in there do i?

sounds alright to me.

also, what are you doin about smells? have you got any way of makin sure you dont have a very weedy smelling basement? filters anything like that?

The bathroom fan i bought seems to take care of the smell. I live at my moms house and she use to get headaches cause of the smell. ever since i installed that fan her headaches have stopped and she no longer smells it. so i guess im on the right track.

yea there bc big bud and dumpsters a local strain here in ohio. they have stretched because i didnt keep the light as close as possible. but im a newbie and im learning. hopefully next harvest they will look better. i ordered some seeds from nirvana. Topp 44 and some bluberry. Ill be sure to post pics of those too. How much would you think im going to end up with? im thinking maybe a 1/2lb. Hopefully. lol
