My First Micro Grow!!

This is my first grow ever! I've been reading plenty of info for years now and i think im finally ready to give it a shot. Im keeping it simple and cheap. I will be using Miracle Grow moisture control for my soil and doing a 12/12 light cycle with cfl's the entire way through. I will be using bag seed as this is my first grow, i wanna make sure i got the basics down before i shell out bread for some beans that im gonna mess up any way. I believe one of the seeds i have is an autoflower....just a guess but thats what im hoping for. I have 3 in a wet paper towel right now and 6 in a cup of water. a few of the ones in the cup are old. Those with the biggest tap roots at the end of the week will go into soil.

Everything inside this box will be used eventually. I gutted this out myself and used aluminium foil for the reflective surface
As you may or may not have noticed in the first pic, i screwed up a little bit while i was gutting this out and there is a small space where there should be none. oh well, not trying to be stealthy.
Self explanatory

Just put 1 seed in the dirt. pics coming when they actually sprout.....then you get to see the box in action!

You better do a hell of a lot of "LST'N, and supercropping" bro! Try and keep those babies tied down as much as possiable! How much head room do you have in the box would you say??

I would say he no chance for more than one plant room wise.... unless i am missing something... that box looks awfully small

I hear that.. me myself I like those huge trees! Haha.. get big yeilds, and big round cola's the size of a 22 0z. but hey, that's me..

well you know how plants can sense other plants around them? i figured this and lsting plus the 12/12 cycle would keep them down. and if push comes to shove then imma take some shears to them lol i would say probably just under 2 ft of head space. i might use a small string screen as well to keep them from the lights.

I am not sure of the strain What i do know is that they are either. Blue Dream, La Confidential, Hindu Kush or Super Lemon Haze

2/4 have fat indica dom. size leafs and the other two are sativas.

Well I can say all the "Super Lemon Haze" I have ever ran have longer more defined leaves on them. So I would say your dealing with either the LA or Bluedream. You have pictures, and I should be able to put a finger on it.. or try to.

sprouting 3 seeds in pc case... impossible lol.. one runt with lots of topping LSTing maybe.. good luck!

I know right! Lol.. honestly, "not being a pecker" or anything "op", but I really don't see this grow happening. One being your going to have one hell of a time keeping those 3 outta the "lights", and if it where me & I wanted to do a "micro" grow such as this, I would do 1 plant total in your pc box, and start it off on 12/12, and then you may still have to do some LST'N on it...

my fault yall. been kinda hectic around here. the purpose of 3 plants is because im using bagseed and wouldnt know the sex of the sprouted plants. 2 turned out to be male so i have 1 plant left. been running 12/12 the entire cycle. to all those are doubtful, the easiets way to keep plants short (doesnt work with every strain) is to keep the lights as close as possible without actually burning the plant or creating too much heat stress. i did this by lowering the lights and used my hand as a guide. once the lights were in a good position, i had a fan blow directly on the lights and i angled it so it wouldnt blow directly on the plants but still give them a little breeze. this made the remaining girl produce huge leaves. i confess, i burnt one of the leaves lol im not perfect but there it is. pics coming after the lights go on. oh yeah, i almost forgot to mention that the one remaining female went hermie i think. only 1 ball sack, im guessing that it came for the light leak i found? but again, im not sure yet so imma check again tomorrow at lights on.

and to the diccs on MY grow journal, the purpose of this isnt to get a huge yield, this is a test run to see if i got the basics of growing. dankster and the other guys, rrelax ya tones and smoke something. not everybody cares about yields. i just wanna see if i can grow anything at all.

ok so i was planning on posting when they showed sex and this one if a male so im not gonna let it grow out. with that being said, this journal is now complete.

Lose the aluminum foil...makes for uneven reflection.
