Well I was planning on transplanting this week so this works out really well actually. How much doolimite to soil should I use...say maybe a layer of soil...then lime, and then soil? Sorry never used lime before. Also I"ll send you a pvt msg, but I would stay away from pirate bay...The feds are on to that site. Bad news brother.

I have to say I'm quite pleased with the roots organics so far. As far as I can tell the girls are looking great and good and tall already (21 inches with a six inch pot) The problem has been the PH if I could stablize that easier and for little money I just want to re read those ingredients would love to use totally organic stuff.

Dude, I haven't seen moccasins in years!! Imma go get a pair today!

Those ladies are gonna love some PH balance in their lives, and real nice side branching on that third lady.

Thanks t0rn...yea I've had those mocs for years now..cousin got them for me for a Christmas present years ago..thier ugg brand super super comfy. Question on balancing the PH though...When I transplant on plan on watering the girls..what PH would you say to start with...I know it's a semi open ended question (factors including what your current pH is) However I'd love to start these girls on the right track today. Again thanks for all the comments.

Lol@ torn....but the plants are looking nice 420 very healthy and bushy...good luck with the transplant always makes me a little nervous when I do it

I'm on my first grow as well, for as much as I know your plants look great! I really would suggest topping though, I topped my plants just once and they REALLY widened out and are producing much moar budz =] Looking forward to seeing these in flower.

Torn thanks for that link...lots of stuff I wasn't necessarily aware of. So if I want my soil at 6.8 I should start with say a 8.2 water. Is that a correct assumption?

I think that's backwards, You'll probably want to PH your water to about 6.3. As the soil dries the PH will move upwards (Alkaline).

Ahh thank you for that clarification...so far transplant successful bought three 12 inch pots and put the ladies in...also added 2 tbs of dolomite lime. Pics to come probably tomorrow still gotta water the ladies (with the proper PH of course :) )

Well no problems from directly from the translplant...when I added the water (ph at 6.5) the runoff was WAAAY too low (3.8) so I added about a half inch ring around each pot of lime and will see how the ladies fair next water (I'm supposed to feed according to my schedule tomorrow but may wait till the next water after that (Monday) to feed hopefully this damn PH crap will clear up by then. Pics to come either tonight or tomorrow depending on how lazy I am with the photos :)

The Girls have really started to come into their own after the transplant (not surprised great looking roots although all 3 were root bound. I need to ease up on the ferts but now that I know what they can and can't take I should be all set..these pics were off a few days ago..I'm going to *try* and get some more up today but no guarantees...also found a great online shop that has everything I need to finish this grow the way I want. The dolomite lime seems to be paying off nicely..last ph read out was 6.0..much better than 3.8. Anyway here are some pics...my fav is the coffee can pic.

Wow, those are really greening up now. Glad the ph is starting to balance out for you. I like how all three are almost the same exact size, good genetics there.

Those things are getting big fast, grats bro!

hey 420 - good to see you over here. Yes, your PH is a problem. In my newbieness, I have learned of two great things for my plants - FIMMING and HYGROZYME. I recommend you google "Hygrozyme"... you get it at your hydro shop, a little pricy, but lasts a long time, and well worth it. I told you about FIMMING on your other post over on my thread. Hygrozyme is a conditioner for your soil, and will help keep most everything in line. My garden is doing as well as it is because of it. Your grow is looking great too! Good job and I'm sub'd to your thread here now.
