The earliest would be October 1st, IMHO. It's unusual for outdoor to finish before that, some sativas will go until November or even December.check out my little mantis buddy!
Yeah, I've got the same thing going on in my back yard. I have one afghani strain that started way earlier than all the rest. It's an 8 week strain indoors, but outside is a different story. Watch the trichomes with a 30x or 60x scope to know for sure. When they start really growing and plumping up then start your finishing formula. When you see them start turning cloudy, start flushing. If you prefer a more devistating "couchlock" stone, then wait until they start turning amber before flushing and harvest when they are like 50% amber.
