hey everyone, im new to the forum, just thought i'ld share my outdoor beauty:weed:...... this is a seed i sprouted this last spring. its my first plant! she's now about 9ft tall and i dont know what strain she is or anything, (i didnt even know they could get this big) only info i have is i know i got the seed from some bud that was from the cannabis club but i dont what remember what specific strain it was. if any one has any ideas or guesses i'ld really like to hear them. i dont know much about this whole growing thing, im very new to it, like i said this is my first plant. i've been reading the differences between indica and sativa but i still cant tell which mine is? the flowers/buds on it look really good! frosty with a sweet fruity smell that smells exactly like a bag of skittles. i'll take pics with a better camera and post pics of the buds tomorrow. the last pic i posted is still a little old, shes around her 7th or 8th week of flowering now. i have no idea on how to tell when its done, i mean i've read all about the trichromes (clear, white, amber) and i have a magnifying glass (will a magnifying glass work?) but so far the trichromes only look white maybe a little clear, but i dont see any amber ones at all. i'll post a pic tomorrow so you guys can check it out and tell me what you think. this plant has inspired me to definitely try some indoor growing this winter:clap:.

*oh some of the outter leaves on the buds are starting to turn purple but i was reading and im pretty sure its from the weather, its been cooling down quit a bit here in cali, especially at night.

if the tricomes are milky white its done. good job. thats a huge plant let us know the yeild when its trimmed and dry.
thanks, i didnt even know they could grow this big, i didnt fertilize it at all through veg, i only did a little in mid flower and i just used hose water to water it, im so happy with it, the yeild looks to be incredible for one plant.

from what ive been reading i thought it was done when all trichromes are milky white and some where amber (whatever % grower preferred), it seems to be in a stage where some trichromes are milky white, some have that wet look still (i assume those are the clear ones?) but i havnt seen one amber one yet. if im wrong please let me know. i was planning on harvesting when i saw a couple amber ones, especially now since you guys say its indica dom i like the body buzz but i definitely wanna get a good head high as well.

yea, i cant believe how fast they grow, i would wake up in the morning and water it, go to work for 8-9 hours and when i would come home it would be noticeabley bigger! this things are awesome!

thanks, im really surprised at her myself. i think i just got lucky with the seed i planted, i didnt do anything special to her, i didnt even fertilize till mid flower and that was only because spider mites and budworms attacked her and i was trying to help her bounce back. i was actually wondering myself what makes these monsters? does any strain have the potential to get this big or does it have to do with genetics, phenotype or......? im kinda bummed out because i didnt clone her, when she was vegging i knew nothing on cloning, now i've cloned 3 rocklock to keep my medical going indoor, i wish i would cloned my "tree" out side.

not all strains and variants and mutants, etc, but most can be large and healthy under the right circumstances

call it berry bush kush or just berry kush, does it smell fruity?
yea it does smell fruity, it smells exactly like a bag of skittles. all of the four people who have seen it say that it smells fruity rite when they smell it and then when i say it smells like skittles huh there like ''yeah! thats what it smells like, i was trying to think of it........'' so hopefully it smells that good after drying and curing. i've been reading online that it can change, a lot sometimes.

i really like the name berry kush, its not too crazy of a name, but sounds like it would be some good s**t, i think i might have to use that one, thanks sacredherb:weed:
