haha hash is the shit, get on aim man , so i can ask you how the quickest way to make hash off the leaves is, cuz im sure you didint have that many leaves right?

yo dave, easy way to make some hash is get an empty tennis ball tube or cut the top off of a 20 oz soda bottle. Put your trim and three clean quarters (as in coins) inside the bottle. Take an old (but clean) piece of t-shirt fabric and stretch as tightly as you can over the opening and secure with a rubber band. Get a large piece of glass or mirror and place flat on the ground or table. Shake the bottle with trim and coins inside vigorously upside down over the glass. Works best with completely dried and crispy trim and very thin and fine t-shirt fabric stretched very tight. Scrape all the shakings on the glass together into a pile. Then put that in a plastic sandwhich bag and twist it up into a tight little ball. Place that under the leg of a table or dryer - the heavier the better - for two days. What comes out if a compacted hash pellet, ready to smoke.

And determining when to harvest is very difficult IMO, even as you get more grows under your belt. The longer I can stand to let them go the more I like the results in my experience but I'm not waiting on my first two plants ever - I remember the feeling. Still, I have never felt comfortable cutting a plant with more than 15% of the pistils being white. White pistils says to me that the bud is still growing although some strains will produce white pistils long past bud maturity. But in general you want mostly brown pistils before you chop. I have a magnifier to look at the trichomes and at least with the strains I grow the pistils are a pretty good indicator of what stage the trichs are at.

thanks man, i would try that hash method, and another method that canna explained but urs sounds alot easyer. i have to plants to experiment with hash making after i harvest, and i do need to get one of them scoped

Is it needed to freeze leaves before shaking? I`ve heard it helps THC crystals to fell of the leaf.

take all the crystals you get (however you get them) roll them into a tight little joint , soak the joint with water/spit, cook it with a lighter like you are drying a blunt! keep it moist dont burn it ,while it is hot flatten it with a heavy metal object or rolling pin ,when it cools peel off the rollingh paper and ....BAM ... HASH! I HAVE PICS IN MY JOURNAL.

I GRIND ALL MY WEED IN A GRINDER WITH A SCREEN BEFORE I SMOKE THATS HOW I GET CRYSTALS TO MAKE HASH!

You could just dip i in water but most people "lick-up" joints before they smoke them . You can use a cup of water just dont over soak it!
