It may be risky, but if you look on Craigslist, there are ads all the time for guys that will set your room up. Usually in the Farm & Garden section.

Farmtek says is good for 4 years!

If I could give you any advice from here it would be:

Get some sunscreen mesh from Home depot. 4ea 6'x20' rolls. 1 roll per side.
Clothesline rafters to keep theplastic from sagging between the poles.
Attach everything with 14" zipties, tape won't work, the sun cooks it.

Go skim the first 20 pages or so of my thread for the photo's of how to attach.

If you cut one roll of mesh in 1/2 it makes the 2 pieces for the ends. If you you overlap them in the center they work like a tent flap, & you can pin it shut.
The long sides take one roll, lengthwise fit's perfectly

I'll stop by Bonghit's place on my way back from work and try and figure out the zip tie thing. That was actually cooking our brain more than anything! lol.

Nice.. Make sure you have a really good pest prevention program.. and sounds like you will have a setup for success.... I would try to go t5's if your gonna have all that lighting in one room ... because heats always a pain .. 1000 watts of mh is a ton of lighting for veg .. I used to run one .. but changed to all t5's

Remember the flower room is going to be in the tent with two air cooled hoods blowing out the room... I can also put an Ac in the tent, i have one just sittin around... So that will be only one 1000watt light with an air cooled hood also and lots of fans...

ok here we go

going to copy double jj.

put duct tape squares on both sides on the plastic for reinforcement then poke a hole through and zip tie to frame. simple and easy. just what i said last night we should do.

and the screen rolls for the sides are at home depot. 33 each and we need 3. one for each long side and half a roll each for the smaller ends. so not bad. that gets zip tied as well.

joseph coming over 2day hopefully we can zip tie it all. goin to wal mart now for supplies.

Im sure you can manage it.. but for me .. the T5's just made it easier to control... and I think you and I are running the exact same setup .. I get about a 6-8 degree increase from ambient temps in the room .... And for me the 1000 watt mh vegged em faster then I need .. I had plants growing too fast waiting to go into the flower tent LOL

It needs just a bit more work to perfect that roof, but we worked together to make sure it was as snug and clean as possible with what we had. I really like what we accomplished today, I didn't expect to get as much done as we did, I got to drink a beer too :D

We need a bit more rope, and it needs to be zip tied a few more times but you guys have a pretty awesome greenhouse so far and I'm getting some awesome experience learning. I like the set up so far, but I agree with Andrew that it should be a little shorter this winter. Since the numbers are going to be legal and the plants aren't going to get very tall, if you and Andrew sign that form TWS posted you can have 12 plants flowering in that Greenhouse as long as you don't have any plant's in your backyard you claim legal responsibility or have legal documents representing said plant's ;)

6 mature and 12 immature can be represented by a designated caregiver in a co-op if a member is unable to produce these plants themselves. For example, a member may be able to put 12 plant through the vegetative stage, but not flower them, this member can give 6 of their plants to flower to another member of the co-op, even though they already have 6 in flower of their own. This is all temporary status, but 2 months is pretty temporary in my books. But I'm no lawyer.

Same goes vice versa.

But I think the greenhouse should have the bottom poles removed for half height, and I think the half greenhouse should be lifted up on two cinder blocks to gain a little bit of height, better air flow with solid walls, and keep it from blowing away with the crazy winds.

......and I was going to say some other stuff but I've been drinking beer, and it smells like it's time to pull dinner out of the oven. Late dinner, I know.

How is the cover ankered down? Here is the PNW I had to tape the hell out of my covers. I live in high windy gorge though. I have to mount wood to the sides of the carport to hold the plastic down. Or the wind will just shread it like cheese. Thats Oregon though.

Yah anker the cover down good. A good wind storm and you wont be in Kansas anymore.

jozikins, you bic stealer!!!!!!!! turns out my torch is out of fuel from earlier. hahaha no biggie though just fired up the ol hemp wick beeline.

and yes it looks professional. the top is pretty tight still. the zip ties seem to do just fine. what i did was put a square of duct tape on the inside and i heated up a piece of wire and melted a hole through. seems to be better than poking a hole or cutting a hole in the plastic. cuz if winds blow it wont rip it will just get bigger where the zip tie holes are. but it should cuz its strong stuff.

just need to get up a privacy fence so my neighbors behind don't get too curious and peep the grow op. i dont care if he sees it. i just dont want his friends who come over to see it. cuz they entertain people in their backyard once a month.

and ya, we need to drop the greenhouse, take a pole out from each leg and drop it 4 feet. its 2 tall right now. we can raise it later.
