My first real grow :)

420 each bulb is 95 watts or the whole fixture? also the hps you have, is the ballast built in or remote? just want your opinion on heat with the hps, also how hot does the t5 run? thanks for the advice i will have the t5 that close then. ganna buy 5k bulbs for flowering and have 2x68watt and 2x42watt 2700k cfl's on them when i switch.

Yes sir I have a 4bulb 380w system. Each bulb is 95w/7200 lumen. And both HPS are w/ ballast built in.

And as far as the heat goes, I'm not having a problem at all bro. I'm growing in a closet as well and my temps are steady between 70-80 night and day.
I've got an oscillating fan blowing just below the lights to help cool them, and an 8" duct fan pulling air out at about 3/4 power.

The T5H0 that I have runs about the same as my HPS. And 5k is what you for you blue! That and you HPS with some CFL helps should do you right bro

Ps my duct fan was $30
Fan speed controller $20
8"x25' alum. ducting $20
Oscillating fan $15

So for less than $85 I've got my temps under control.
I've also got the option to air cool now. But check eBay and Amazon out boss

damn thats a nice t5 vho. lucky you got it so cheap. i wish i could afford something like that but im thinking 150 hps will be perfect. i have veg down pat, then switch all but 2 cfls for the hps i think it will be much better.

also update on the girls. Chill is still super slow starting to yellow even more idk whats up with it i made sure everything was perfect but obviously it wasnt. i might germ another soon to restart chill.

the auto somango is growing amazing but its getting root bound already in its 1 gal. So i know they say DONT transplant autos but i might have to. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

My exodus cheese was growing amazing till i transplanted her. shes defiantly is stunted right now and the new growth is turning PURPLE! which i know its no bueno but what can i do?????

Safest way to transplant BY FAR is to grow in grow bags until you put them in your final pot or smart pots.
You can literally just roll the growbags down off of the rootball without disturbing ANYTHING. You just have to let the rootball dry out just enough so that it hold firm during transplant.

Otherwise I'd say just be careful and cut your containers off..I don't do the tip and flip thing...It's too messy for my liking

1 and 2 exodus cheese(new growth turning purple. #3 and 4 auto somango. looking great but need transplant. also LOOKS LIKE BALLS but i dono(picture 4) and pic 5 is my slow chill that im ganna kill soon and restart with another auto

No prob bossman! It's good to have other helping you think outside the box right?! I've got like 5-10 ppl here helping me on a regular basis haha so I just figure I'll pay it forward evey chance I get

PS. I've crushed a few rootball back in the day with the tip and flip method so I had to improvise haha. I'll buy more pots all day before I run the plant haha

Yea I ripped one of mybrootballs due to being to wet I had cut container.. But roots were stuck to bottom of my pot -.- ..... You can only learn from your mistakes now I usered cups and rip the cup off the dirt and transplant into main pot.

i transplanted my auto tonight. went well but its ganna be stunted probably because its an auto. hopefully it doesnt ruin it. BUT GOOD NEWS its showing its first pistols!!!! i will take pics in the AM. also killed the chill it was not going well. and in the process of germing a auto sweettooth!!! im very excited about that!

update! so the first pic about me, the bigger purple set has doubled in 24 hours and turned a nice dark green so im happy with that. The even newer 2 leaves poking out seem to be doing worse. Lighter green, but less purple.

Im supposed to water thursday morning but im ganna flush them tomorrow morning to see if that helps.

I got my Pro-TeKt silicon supplement today DO you think i should add it to my flush but only half strength first time then add full the rest of the grow? ive read very good things about this so im ganna try it. LMK what you think.

changed lights around today, flushed with ph'd water and 1/4 tsp of Pro-TeKt. The auto is friggin amazing. flowering like crazy. The cheese fem is looking good as well. pics in a while.

So excited to not have to fuck with cfls anymore. lol Definitely getting a cool tube and some sort of inline fan i just dont wanna spent a crap ton of money on the fan. maybe ganna rig something up with a diy carbon filter! excited i am

last 3 are auto somango. I transplanted her and she stopped growing and started flowering so next time i will definitely plant in final pot. but she looks good and is flowering. Actually shes my first flowering cannabis plant!!

Congrats, its cool to see your first buds come in and even cooler when you smoke them and they turn out well.
