i just moved the light down about 4-6" i'll check it in a couple minutes to see how much my temps raise. id have to take the glass off my hood to tell you how close they are. i just measured from tops of plants to glass the are now about 18-22" from bulb.

Put your hand over the tallest plant...if it is to hot for your hand it is to hot for the plant. Try getting a couple of cfls to keep close to that baby!!

ive put my hand to the tops of my plants, and it doesnt feel hot to me(i do have nerve damage and feeling isnt 100% in either arm) and my dig temp/humd saying its 82

You might just want to get a couple of cfl's since that baby is so much smaller, that way she won't continue to stretch. You can probably lower that 400w to about 16 inches above the tallest plant and be good.

while checking the ph level today to adjust it, i noticed the tap root is coming out of the bottom of the net pot. so i added another air pump, this one is attached to a air stone in the bottom of the bucket. that air pump will run 24/7.

i dropped my ph meter in my bucket this morning. its drying out now. will it be ok or is it fucked? it was on, i was rechecking the ph level after adding ph down. so i have no clue what my ph is right now. i turned it off as soon as i pulled it out of the water.

Not sure if it is fucked or not....only time will tell!!!!

i hope its still good. im broke as hell!!! and dont want to mess up my plant in the hydro unit. now im kicking my own ass for not waiting till i was up for a little while before checking the ph level. its not like there was any rush, the next drip cycle isnt till 5pm

res change today. i put about 2 1/2 gallons of water in the spare hydro bucket (after cleaning it). it tested at 5ppm. i added 15ml of cal-mag brought ppm up to 261, then added karma 10ml brought ppm up to 319, then 10ml grow brought ppm up to 483. the ph tested below 4ph. ph pen is junk from dropping it in the res the other day. so i have the little bottle with drips to test. i added 12 drops of ph up to get the ph in between 5.0 and 6.0.

She looks like she may have a little Mg deficiency...do you have some Calmag to give her. If you don't have any add a tsp Epsom salt to a gallon of water. Keep up the good work!!!

yea there was calmag added. she must have taken up all of it in the 2 weeks. she has fresh calmag and nutes now.
