Yep lol. Especially the drip system.

one big loop with reduction to 4mm to each drip line to each plant with most likely 2-4 drip lines to each one.

I actually need to veg for slightly longer next time to fill the screen at the front end better as theres a few gaps.

Day 61 of 12/12.

EC currently 0.8.

I’m slowly reducing my EC now.

Next time I fill up which will be in about 5 days I will fill with 0.4 which with the remainder already in the tote will make it around 0.6-0.7.

I’ll then do one more filling of the res with 0.4 which drop it to around 0.5 flat and that’s where I’ll stay until finish however much longer that is!

Anyone want to take a guess how much longer. There are 2 different plants here with different phenos.

One of the phenos has more pistils receded than the other. With more rounded buds. Where as the other pheno has more “pointed” buds but plenty of fresh white pistils.

Soon mon, lol. Honestly, I never know how much longer until I am within about 3 days of harvest (usually).

, it's always difficult to guess but I think if you allow another 2 weeks the end should be somewhere in that window.

I tried to search for this thread a couple of days ago but I couldn't find it with the search box using various scrog, trellis, screen with your username, anyways I've got it now...
How are you getting on with dialing in your auto system?

A piece of useless information but I found this interesting, the ec was stable at 1.2ec for weeks then overnight (day 59) the ec raised in the run off and has done since, its day 67 now and I've had to lower the ec 3 times, it's stable at 0.7ec atm so I'll leave it for now and see how it goes, I'm anticipating another 7/10 days but I'll see what happens over the week.

I notice it more on hotter days.

currently I’m feeding 0.8 x3 a day only during day light.

I might increase this slightly.

runoff has been consistently between 1.1-1.4.

it’s been a tinkering experiment that’s for sure.

Thankfully my first feed is at 10pm in the evening so I Have enough time to check what the runoff was like for the first one and to see if I’ve adjusted enough or too much lol.

if this was recirculating or draining to a dump out etc it would be even easier. Lol. But alas I use a sink bowl to catch runoff.

each day I have to check and I remove any runoff there and then.

I’ve had one day where I thought it might have been a fair amount of runoff.

thankfully caught it before first feed as it was full lol.

Also got more components coming to make it a 13mm ring with 4mm branches off for drippers to create more even pressure across the whole thing.

plan is to use my HDPE non flexi pipe to create a loop to branch off.

Another tit bit of possibly useless information.

when this happens to me, I pH my solution at nearly 7 if the runoff has jumped considerably and it helps to stabilise the runoff again IME.

It's a maturity thing, it's normal for the ec to rise as the plants requirements drop.

10 x 13mm stake supports (for inserting into coco for stability)

I haven’t installed this yet so no pics of that lol.

In line with the 4mm drippers for greater flow control? Baring in mind the drippers allow control by turning them.

So add a valve in the res on the up from the pump to allow some flow back into the res before it leaves up the supply pipe?

Right,gives you the ability to adjust flow to the sprayers.Pending on pump size I guess.

I get you.

I’ve seen that on a YouTube video before about setting up your own hydro drip system.

I’m not overly concerned with aerating the res as I’m running coco DTW anyway so O is pulled in during the feed cycles.

but ultimately either another of the orange dripper valves I use now or I could just use one of these on the up portion of the supply still inside the tote.
