My freaking lights busted

and somehow my little lamp kits short circuited and won't work at all...I was fucking with one of my giant CFL's and it fell right off the fixture and broke and then whilst trying to reconnect it, i short circuited the entire top floor of my house so now none of my light fixtures will work and I don't have money for new CFL's. I have to put my plants in the window now (FUCK MY LIFE) andhope for the best. They've been flowering for six weeks now. also, as you can see I kind of burnt the fuck out of the red plant's top leaves when the bulb fell on it before it shattered...these will be trimmed anyway, right? Has anyone flowered in a window before? My plants are so little I'll probably only get an eighth from each plant lol110725-115224.jpg110725-115209.jpg110725-115316.jpg110725-115356.jpg:leaf:

You have a few issues there dude! Nitrogen toxicity, over nuting, stretch. You can finish them off via your window but do what you can to get some additional lighting, even cfl's. The curled over tips of the leaves is a nitrogen toxicity, which you should not have in flowering, make sure you use bloom/flower nutes while flowering. You also have some brown tips of the leaves which is a general over feeding. You are loving them too much dude, a common beginners mistake. This is what growing is all about for the first few grows, making mistakes and learning from them. Dont be too disheartened, flush with un ph'd water (to stop further nutrient uptake) 3x the volume of your pots. Get them under as much light as you can, they will survive and flower out but I have to say they only look like they have been flowering for about 3 weeks! Do you have a light leak? Are they auto's? Were they sexually mature when you started flowering them? Stay frosty fella. W

wow, i would say you could finish in the window, but you have at least 4-6 weeks to go.. these babies are not even close to being ready.. best advice would be to find a way to get some GOOD lighting and finish the crop. not sure the wattage you were using before, but a good reason for plants to stretch is lack of light.. if all you can do is finish in a window, good luck.. i just hope you grow somewhere where you are at least legal.

so it'll just take a bit longer than normal if I finish them like that? I can be patient, I'm just worried about the quality/quantity of light...but I mean its sunlight, so it should be okay, right?

i know this is a dumb question, but you said when you were trying to plug in your CFL it shorted out the whole top floor?
Just curious, did go to your breaker box and see if any of them tripped?

also they are small because you havent fed them anything, i'm actually shocked they aren't showing any def's but i'm willing to bet it's because the plant isn't photosynthesizing as quickly using the flo's and the plant doesn't need as much food.. but when you do feed them go lite and work your way up from there

hehe not its not because its not even entirely accurate good maybe but great? IMO. ;)

Idon't see any sign's of nute burn just a heat burned plant which is also suffering from heat stress. See how the tips are curling its called cats claw ;) first indicated of heat stress.

Hmm i dont see any nitrogen in toxicity if your referring to the deeper dark green leaves no were near dark enough and the tips aren't showing enough tip yellowing to be even considered a nitrogen in toxicity.
Im gonna assume you were using a crap light from the begging so the plants was well doing crap photosynthesis :-D put her in your window make sure shes getting direct sunlight and ul be fine. It'll take a bit longer then usually but ul get something off it.
As for bloom booster and all that crap. Can post a few studying done by reputable university's stating that a plant cant even absorb more then 20-35ppms of P. So bloom booster will only do so much ;) Enjoy.
