My garden is all Blue Dream this year

The fucking machine gun toting property threatening to be seizing jack-booted thug ass feds blew out everyone in Sacramento that I trusted enough to buy clones from, so I made a run to Harborside. If I can't trust their genetics, then I give up. All Blue Dream.

No fucking around this year with seeds that may or may not thrive in the hot Sacramento sun. Super Lemon Haze is delicious, pretty potent, and a very, very happy high. I love it. It also yields like absolute shit. Tangerine Dream yielded a little better, but it's junk pot. Didn't smell very good, didn't taste very good, and wasn't very stoney.

BD yields like a monster, is potent as hell, and has that lovely hint-of-blueberry taste. It's a no-brainer.

haha I can dig it, sometimes it just pays to go with consistency and proven results than to trust a bunch of variation. Though im not doing any clones outside this year, I narrowed down my outdoor grow from seed this year to 2 strains only, both proven to do well in my area. Maybe its just me but I suck at growing like 18 different strains at once.

Im doing all purple diesel's this year, probally around 12 total. I did 4strains last year, 2sour d, 2 the purps, 2grape ape and 6skywalker. I got tons of purple diesel's some of the hog and bodacious. The purple diesel's were ready before everything else thats why im doing all of that kind. I will be starting a thread tomarrow, "suburb greenhouse grow"

Plenty of clones available in dispensaries in and around sac. RCP has them in on a regular basis

DSM it's nice to see you man. BD is is all gooooood. I missed my opportunity to grab one from RCP last time and all my pots are accounted for now.

Which nursery/vendor had blue dream? Those come & go quickly at Harborside!

Grow the strain you like to grow and just grow that strain. I like it. Most milti-strain gardens are a cluster fuck. My only reservation about BD is that it can be had here for 10k/5 pack. But, it's such a great yielder that 2k per can be good $$$ if you grow alot of it. Thanks for posting...we'll look forward to follow up posts this fall with big bad ass BD trees.

I'm in agreement. If I had to pick one strain to grow/smoke for the rest of my life it'd be blue dream. Everyone is down on it because the market got flooded with really crappy cheap OD blue dream, but it's a fantastic strain. I think the strain is getting the blame for all the bad growers out there!

I missed the boat on it this year but will be running it indoors over the winter.

I'm not saying you can't get good clones here in town. My point is that there is nobody left here that I know well enough to trust that their genetics are 100% accurate.

It's quite honestly my favorite smoke, too. And it's all anyone that looks to me for their smoke wants. Nobody cares about whatever else I grew. 'I need to come over and grab some dream.'

Between the bad growers and the people who miss label their weed for market demands, Blue Drean the real Blue got a bad rap. This is starting to happen with the OG's in So Cal. Some dispensaries are pushing a strain they're calling Tahoe. But, it's not even close to a real Tahoe OG. Real Tahoe has a Lemon Pledge Smell, and is comprised of Small Triangle Buds. The tests don't lie and Real Tahoe always comes in over 20% and usually around 22%. We had one test out at 23%. I just dealt with a dispensary who claimed they were getting "tahoe" for $2700/Lb. I purchased an 1/8, had it tested , and showed them the results: 16%. I think they knew, but didn't think anyone would call them on it. They said the vendor told them it was Tahoe and they believed him.

This kind of BS is happening all over the place. As storefronts close many of the remaining ones are getting greedy. I urge everyone to post experiences with dispensaries...good and bad. Don't let shoddy business practices tain the name of any strain. Real Blue Drean is a fantastic strain. Lets not allow the shitty growers and greedy misslabelers get away with it anymore. Ring the BULLSHIT BELL when people start lying.

One of the clubs I go to from time to time admitted that two of their strains with two different names, were the same strain, different phenos, wtf. Shit bothers me too

Im in love with the blue Dream in my closet right now.
