My ghetto grow room!!! flowering

how much did it cost cant i just buy like a 400 watt hps bulb and it fit in like a lamp will it fit cuz i dont have the $$ to get whole setup i just need to know if one of them 400watt hps bulbs will screw on to a clamp light

i dont think you can it needs its own ballast
 
You need to start investing into your set up. I did, little by little, crop after crop. Sell a little, not too much, then , start buying better equip. I started way small, now look at me, a year later.

400wHPS will do wonders for those plants. I use a 600w. Last year I got seven nice plants out of it (couple of them almost five feet tall!). This year, I am flowering 8 and have six coming up the rear (of which, a couple WILL be males..).

At any rate, I don't know if you can (someone more experienced can weigh in), BUT, if you can put them back on 18/6 and get that 400w in there, it will make a big time difference.
