My Ghetto LST. pics

Hello RIU. Just wanted to post a few pics of this lil LST project. lol This plant was threw into flower with my last grow. Unfortunetly there wasn't enough room so she was restrained to a very small pot for a good 2 months. She just spit pistils and stopped growing. Now I have turned her into my new lst girl. She was about a foot tall when I started slowly bending her towords the soil. The side branching was very small if any. So now she's been back on 18/6 lighting for about a month or two. Took her at least 3 weeks to kick back into veg. This is her now. Just lookin for advice, comments, ect.

Right on sic, thanks for posting. Nice grow btw. Mine use to be dense like that, but alot of the leaves yellowed and died below the canopy. Was that bent down from clone or seed? My last lst looked alot better then this girl. What do you suggest I do with the side branching coming off the side branchs? Could I lay them down and repeat the process? Also, I think theres to many! How would I go about trimming of the side branching on the side branchs?

i'ed say bend the bitch over as much as you can if shes a new cloning bitch then bending releases hormones that will make your Branch's branch more and give you more clones. keep it all one level nice even canopy.

Thats what I've been trying to do. I'm having trouble keeping the main cola above the rest. Everytime I lay everything down shes starts drooping bad, and by the next day alot of leaves go yellow. Thought she was dying so I released her ties. This isn't a cloning plant. Its a bagseed I've been experimenting on. Now that I have good genetics I'm done with bagseed. She will be flowerd and harvested with the rest. Hopefully the last bagseed I see in my room for a while. Now I'm just waiting for my good genetics to mature as they are a good month behind the rest. Still seedlings realy. Maybe I'll take a few clones and throw them outside this summer. I got a good yield last harvest but was very dissapointed with potency in all but one.

try starting to lst them in the first few weeks and keep up with it intill flowering :bigjoint:

Right on sic. Hopefully they are girls. I'm lucky to have gotten them this far. I had no hope in them even germinating cuz they looked so small (immature). Not sure of the strain. Got it from a friend who pulled them out of an Hawaiin bag. As long as its medical grade I'm happy. Oh yeah, some rep for your troubles....

The stem looks nicely turned and wrapped but she looks like she's stretching a lot and not as bushy as LST should look but she looks good.. Did you only tie the stem down or branches also? And you'll probably need to move your lights closer, depending on what you're using

as for the dropping.. maybe you have the ties too tight

Definetly a little stretched. She was in flower for a good month 1/2 before being re-veged and tied down. Shes tightening up now though. I've tryed tying down the branchs to get them lower then the main cola but then she starts to yellow and droop. Keep in mind this plant was at least a foot tall with little to no side branching before I started bending her down. As for ties being to tight, I'm using metal hook/stakes. Shes under a 400w MH conversion bulb. No more room for a bigger pot either. Do you guys think I should just flower her now?

your plant looks great but your pics are terrible. i guarantee thats why a lot of people arent posting. anyway good luck on the grow man!

lol.. pics are good enough. but yeah just through her into flower now. she's pretty big as is and if you have no more room for another pot then you dont wanna get her any bigger since she'll really grow in flower

Definetly. Can't wait to see how big she gets. Well I'll throw her in a 12/12 lighting tonight. I definetly need a camera though. Shity pics are ok for veg I guess but I want crisp pics for flowering. I checked out your first grow too Prebs. Very nice little bush you had there. + rep When I lst from young age they look more like yours but like I said, she was forgotten about for a while. So will it be the same thing, as if I never flowered her? Like, will it take as long for her to show pistils as it did the first time? Anyone have experience in flowering a re-vegged plant? Well, I guess thats it for now. I'll post an update here in the next week or two if anyone is interested. Maybe I'll start a journal. Late.......

I think it'll show sex sooner actually, but you may run the risk of her turning hermie. Im watchin this though. Would like to see what happens

Yeah, I know theres a risk of her goin hermie on me. Realy, I would be surprised if a few balls didn't show, just from the neglect. Yeah, I'm thinkin a 80/20 sativa dominant, probably a little less. My buddy came by last night and smoked some LSD with me. Needless to say it put me on my ass. But shes defintly in flower now. Alot of her calyx have browned and fell off. Well, just keep watchin. Thanks for your guys help thus far!

Ok so heres the update. The big lady has been in flower for about 6 days now. No big changes, just a little stretching out, and within the first 2 days of 12/12 she responded by throwing out new pistils. The secondary branching is bushing out a bit more aswell. I also threw my other 2 hopefully ladys into flower last night. They are both 5 weeks old from seed, and between 9-12 inchs. As you can see I leaned one over just a tad to give lower branchs more light. I have also included a few pics of the young unknown Hawaiian strains. They are 2 weeks old from seed. The quality of the pics arn't any better.... srry bout that. Thats pretty much it though. I will update this grow in another week, and continue to do so until harvest. Questions, comments, ect. are welcome.

Ok so heres an update on my lil grow. Nothing to exciting yet. Just the usual stretching. They are about 2 weeks into flower. The 2 ladys I threw into flower with the LST girl, are in fact ladys! They are now between 18- 20 inchs. The hawaiian strain is starting to take off, it is 3 weeks old from seed and about 7 inchs. Strain look familiar to anyone? lol Its leaves are realy thick between your fingers, almost "ribbed". Thats about it though. I will update in another week if anyone is still watchin. Peace........
