my girl needs help

my girl had a little nute burn cuz she was growing in hydro before dirt an wen i was transplanting her she got sum water on her leaf. the next day it turned brown so i cut it off. should i have cut the whole leaf off? she about six to sevin weeks annd she has two 1 pair of fan leaves and is starting her second. not counting the ones after the round leafs. thanks

Removing one leaf isn't going to result in anything awful. It'll be fine.

You can cut half the leaf if you want. Look at plants outside, their leaves get damaged all the time but they continue to support them anyway.
