Man the soil looks weird there. I see what looks to be about 3in of topsoil. Then what looks like yellow clay, but WYF is the layer below that? I'm just curious I never get to leave Minnesota.

Things are looking good. I still have never figured out how that opaque plastic lets in the light without blocking some of the light.

It does block a little of it, but there's still plenty left!

The head on the stuff in the barrel is due to the malt extract and hops boiling for 60 minutes. After straining the hops u can put a airlock on it and the sugars convert to alcohol. Just not sure if its a lager or ale lol.

most of the time i wear sunglasses in there its still that bright..
