hey, ive have a delema. i have a small box for veging in under one 18" cool fluor and one 18" warm fluor. but my question is weather i can keep them growing in a smaller cup like a plastic beer cup, and then transplant them into like 3 gallon pots when i put them outside. obviously i want to get as much growth i can out of the plant , and if i put a bigger pot in my grow box it will sacrifice that. comments please

sure you can transplant them to bigger pots, hack you have to do it if reaching a foot, the roots need some pace to do they job:)

you have to transplant your babies as soon as their roots start to fill up the cups you grow in right now and at the latest when the fill that cup.

yea, that's about what i would suggest you, besides if you have something like 16 oz beer cup there to grow with, it should bring you safe grow until mid to end of march for sure. it takes a normal plant at least a month to fill that volume up.
don't forget to make some holes into the bottom of the cup! if you miss out on that the water will sit in there and rot away your young roots and kill the plant slowly. so don't forget about drainage! its crucial;)
