my grow box

hey guys. so i just build a box thats 60cmx60cmx75cm and i want to grow in it but i am a bit of a noob i just have a few questions, and it would be cool if you helped a fellow smoker out kiss-ass

first, i was wondering how many plants might fit inside it. i was thinking maybe 3? im planning on going lst so the plants dont get too tall and burn the top leaves

i also need to know what lights i should use. i heard cfl´s are cheap and good, but i dont know how many and the watts potency.

and last, i need help with ventilation. i know you need an exhaust and intake fans, right? i wanted to put them both at the top of the box, one on each corner. is that cool? and will i need more fans, like inside the box or is that enough?

i know its a lot of questions but i wanted my box done by the end of the week, so the more help the better.

dude thats one small box. Height seems like it will be an issue. I suggest using the search feature to find some other box grow setups.

hey bro...that space doesnt sound big enough for 3 plants....pot plants get big...go with one or two if they are small indica dominant...i would go with some CFLs for veg and a 150 HPS set up once you get flowerin....dont use an intake fan, only an exhaust fan...create a vacuum with it, sucking air from the outside through another small hole in the box...plan on putting a carbon scrubber on the other end of the exhaust fan to get rid of the smell...the vacuum in your box is very important for proper ventilation and odor control

so i guess ill just grow two plants and see how that goes. also im thinking of using 3 23w CFLs for veg. what distance should i keep between the top leaves and the lights? i might put a layer of plexi glass between the lights and the plants so it doesnt get so hot and they can get taller.
and will i need any more fans inside the box? besides the exhaust fan and the small hole?

get the lights as close to the plants as you can without burning them or makin them sweat...fix your lights n then put your hand where the plants are...if your hand feels like its warmin up quick then move the lights back...idk the point of the glass...even plexi is a heat capacitor...meaning it will store the heat from the lights n make your growing area harder to cool...toss it...you will need a tiny circulation fan in there to keep the plants movin around a lil...unless your exhaust fan creates enough wind inside the box where you dont need one

Hey man, I've just started growing, but here's pretty much what i have...
39" down 29" across 24" depth box, 2 extractor fans, 2 intake fans positioned as far away as possible, the two in fans are on the back side of the box At The Bottom as you're looking in, the two extractor fans are in the top right corner, BTW THEY'RE JUST 4" COMPUTER FANS.
My light is a 200w CFL Blue Spectrum Bulb With Reflector purchased from progrow.co.uk .
2" CHICKEN WIRE, I plan on using the SCROG method.
Watering With Tap Water Adjusted With Two Drops Of PH-DOWN Per 2 Litres.
Using Canna Vega For Two Waterings Then Plain Water (With PH-Down) For The Third.

Using 6" Aluminium Ducting For Light Leakage And General Positioning Of Extracted Fumes (High Up).
And An Electronic Hygro Meter/Thermostat.
Also I'm Using A Heating Mat Underneath The Plants When The Light Is Off.... My Light Cycle At The Moment Is 21 ON AND 3 OFF.
My Plants Are Doing Fine.

I Would Go For Two Plants Because I Would Prefer Quality Over Quantity, You Can Always Top Them To Get More Yield, And I'm Sure Your Plants Will Thank You For It.

Also I'm Getting A Small Fan To Blow The Plants.
