ok so this morning i topped plant #2, then about an hour ago i started to LST plant #1. i might start to LST plant #2, but i might wait until the new growth starts from topping her and LST the two new top colas separately not sure yet... lets hear what you guys got to say.

nah man. Just tie down the main cola for now. What node did you top it on, because certain points can make the plant behave differently. Such as you may get 4 large new colas, or maybe just 2...if it was too soon(which it didnt seem like) you could end up with a dead plant. Anyways man, my advice is, if your gonna LST it, do the main cola only. It won't stunt the growth. If your worried about space you can also put side lighting, that really helps to keep the plant short and stocky. Hope things work out man. Oh and i should be posting some mobile pics of the ladies when they wake up. Sorry there gonna be from my phone, its all i got. Anyways good luck man, its always nice writing you.

the one o topped did seem a little bit early but she hasn't died yet haha. still looks a good green and i can see the new growth starting....

I mean i just had to find out the hard way. I waited like a month to do it with my 1st ones and they turned to be males, so thats a good amount of time wasted. I could have had another plant almost 3 weeks old if i wouldve known sooner. I dont know, i just waked and baked, so im not sure im making sense.

ya i am going to put them on a 12/12 starting tomorrow. how long do you think it will take before it will show signs???

personally i would wait like a week or so before switching if you just topped. when you switch to 12/12, males (for me) usually show within a week. females have shown as early as 7 days and as late as 2 weeks for me.

yeah no problem. ive noticed when i top my plants they go thru like ~week of stress/slowed growth, then they burst with growth.

ya its only been one day, but i can already see the two new growths starting....so if in another day or two they still look like there not very stressed i will start sexing then...

ya dude, i actually sexed mine when they were just one main cola, (almost 3 weeks old) Then once i got my females i topped them, and got rid of the males. Well i kept one for some future seeds.

Ya i found my 1st male in like 4-5 days. Then day after day i picked out males. Then on the 4th male showed, i finally got a female (kiana), then all the rest ended up being females. It was cool.

right on ya i think i am going to start sexing them tomorrow. they are showing good signs of healthy growth even plant #2 (the one i topped).... happy growing all

ok so i have a run off water dish under my pots is it bad if i keep that filled with water too???what could go wrong if i do this???
