My Grow Kicking Ninja ass under a 150 hps Tell me what you think!!!

9 to 12 inches and i would go for nine cause in tha flowering stage tha plant indeed does grow double its size. I started flowring at 9 inches and ended up with 2 and a half feet!!!! Grow on!!!! Top them and lst them thas how you will get tha most.

you want no more than that because that light will only effectively penetrate your canopy about a foot after that tha lumnes start to dissapear....

Pretty Happy with that 150 watt sun system hps...with the assistance of a couple of warm flouros its looking like im going to get a great yield from my two girls one girl has four main colas all filling up very very nicely and tightly packed and may i add all the little extras all around...and the other girl has two main colas and a host of medium size bud sites all over...im very suprised at how far that light penetrates tha canopy it seems to effectively bud sites close to 2 feet down from the top....pics to come...there is nothing wrong with a 150wattsystem if you utilize your space to tha max!!!!

Looking good buddy! I run the same HPS system your running. They work great don't they?!?! I was impressed with it.. much brighter than I thought it would be. They do make a conversion bulb for our HPS system.. its a MH bulb that will work with the S55 Ballast. I plan on getting one
for my next grow after I harvest my Nirvana Ice plants but that's not for another 4 weeks maybe 5 weeks.
I started out with just the one 'SunSystems 150 HPS'; but then I went ahead and got another one. I mean hell, I only paid like 75$ or 80 bucks for the one so why not go ahead and get another one?? I run both of them at the same time for a total of 300 watts (and like 28k total lumens)... and the plants freaking love it. I can't go any higher in wattage.. my growspace is too confined and too small to take much more.. even with 3 fans that I already have in there. Plus, if something were to go wrong with one of them.. at least I have the other one as a backup you know? So yeah it all works out.. and again... these 150watt systems are impressive for being only 150 watts.
I'm babbling.. sorry about that buddy. I babble alot when I smoke.. and now I'm stoned.

hey guys im lookin into buying a 400w hps system or this system this guy referred on this post its a glowpanel 45 led if i do go with the hps im going with a digital ballast so i can do mh too! but just your thoughts.... i guess the glowpanel 45 is about 140 bucks i would be putting down the same amount of money on the 400w hps system i want to get off ebay.... just your thoughts would be nice

yes yes i am definately thinking about getting and additional light and i say HPS all the way there would be no reason for me to switch to MH when the HPS has proven itself to suffice now im not saying that it couldnt lead to a different more favorable result but for now keeping things simply is what i vow to do. I really appreciate tha gud words!!! grow on!!!

im firmly suggesting that you get a HPS system...as we all know its better to do a whole grow with a HPS light because it mimics tha spectrum visible in early september to october and if you ahd to choose you would want tha light that your buds react more favorable to.....and once again even youtube it and see if you can find many grows with a LED system and when you do its far and inbetween and i've never seen one with a yield so i can only advise what i know.....HPS ALL THE WAY

Yes it would be i have a 150watt with tha help of 2 flouros putting out 65 true watts a piece and its jus about right for two so with math youll come to figure that about 75-100 watts equals a happy ass plant and more would make them even happier so all together im working with 280watts and im lovin wat its doing with my two girls so in theory you should be golden with a 400 watt on 3-4 plants....GOLDEN!!!! and about your search i wouldnt buy anything from a second hand dealer this grow is too important to me as its my first to take any chances, good luck with that but bulbs loose their lumen output with time so if you are indeed gonna go tha ebay way then get new bulbs when it arrives i wouldnt chance it and also go out and get a light meter its 5 bucks from Loews...well worth it as youll be able to see where and how the lumens are spread and find your spots where its optimal for your plant....GROW ON!!!!! glad i could help....

thas what im sayin the LED systems are unproven at this point maybe with time they will figure out the proper technology...it would be awesome cause the leds produce way less heat virtually none....but it looks like your gonna take my advice glad i could help you....

Dude get a complete system unless working with wires is your thing....from what i hear if wired incorrectly that shit can blow up so to be safe get a complete system with a convertible so you can if you wish to switch from mh to hps....
