i built this grow room from a large home subwoofer speaker box, which looks like no different to how it did before i converted it, ofcourse it doesnt work as a speaker anymore.
i have insulated it with some warm wool-like material, and have white painted materials in the very inside walls and ceiling to reflect light.
i cut out a round section behind it nearer the top and mounted a 12v computer fan to the back which starts on its own every two hours for ten minutes. i ofcourse removed the actual speakers themselves from the box leaving a cavity in the front which is used to check/water my plant by simply removing the cover of the box. the light, its simple, not very high powered but it keeps the temperature in the box quite warm usually at a consistant amount between 22-30 degrees celcius. i germinated two seeds last week and planted them 6 days ago. my first plant has started vegitating quite fast, it has about 2 inches perhaps, maybe a little less, but it certainly doesnt look like anything is going wrong considering the progress.
i know a lot of people sugest being a lot more thorough and using "the right gear" and giving it fertilizer and shit all the time, but i must ask what are the chances that this will keep growing without any problems considering the simplicity of my grow room?
i can provide more details if they are required to get an idea. this is more of a diy job, experimenting a bit, although i will try to do things as properly as i possibly can but i am limited to certain things.
holla at me
