my growing adventures

alright, hopefully i can keep writting this down and i wont forget to come back here and write it down.

I don't have much time to come on here and talk and mingle since i have two jobs. I started to grow about 5 weeks ago. I did a few dumb things and shoulda waited till i knew more about hydroponics to start buying shit.

I'm gonna try to get some pics up here soon, I just found my camera. I wish I woulda had it a while back, I woulda had pics from seeds to smoke.

I started w/ bagseed. first this one is good.. and i dont worry about fucking up my white widow or my bubblegum .

I put the majority of the seeds in a paper towel added water and left a bit of it in the cup. about 3 days later they had cracked and started to show their root????



after that i put them in rockwool and added plain water and some drinking water from the store.

after they started poping up i put them on lights.

i think i did it wrong cuz.. i had the light out too far and they grew out, but not too bad.


they are currently at 3wks and starting the 4th...

I'm gonna get a different setup soon. I'm getting a custom made cabinet bout 5ft tall and 2x2 or so. 4sq ft. perfect to flower 4-6 plants.. and a bottom for clones/veg.


I think i did something wrong as some of my plants show signs of burn and a yellowish discoloration. I'm not too worried though. since like i said i did these seeds so i dont fuck up my good stuff.


I tell you what.. this stuff i'm smoking now is just supposed to be regular weed. i'm anxious to find out what w.w. and bubble are like.

hand fed right now but drip on the way.

i have about 20 babies.. some will die some will live.. some i'll smoke.. i can't wait.

Ok. I've finished taking the pictures and uploading them. These plants are about 3 weeks old and are entering their four week of life.

If you guys look at them and see something odd or off please let me know. This is my first time and I'm just reading and not bothering people. I can pretty much understand all of this since it's just common sense and reading.

But please let me know if there is something that you see w/ my plants.

I'm getting a small custom closet box soon.

It's a 2ftx2xftx5ft tall.. about close to six actually.

w/ two compartments.. the top one for the flowering and the bottom for vegging. should be nice when done. I'll take some more pics. If you have some questions let me know.


Also please let me know if using miracle grow is ok? I got a bit of salt??? build up. I flushed them w/ only water and I am misting them w/ only water also. Is that ok? yes no?

anyways comments/questions please give me some!

how do you like rockwool?

where they clones or seeds

rockwool is very good. a lil tough for a beginner, but i learn fast as hell or my plants die. .

it holds plenty of water but hard to keep nutes feed by hand.

i dont have an automated setup yet. currently i dont need it, but it's getting time.

All I need are some trays to get the run off. more pics soon.




btw.. they were seeds.

ok.. here we go.. it's the start of the fourth week and I had to make a few cuts. three plants didn't make it.. and i'm left w/ 20something. i dunno how many will live til the end. I will have some more pics up soon.

the flower and secondary veg box is still being made.. i did a few adjustments to it. it's not a six foot tall box..

26" wide
24" deep
72" tall

a shelf at 8" high and another at 32" high. the rest is for the flower.. i say about 28 inches for them.. and the rest for the lights.. how does that sound anyone??

I've been working quite a bit these days and haven't had time to take some pics and update the journal.

i think they are doing really good.. at least to me it looks good. i gotta read up on how to tell the males from females.. i'm only gonna clone some of these to test out my cloning. the males i'm gonna take out.. or if someone can tell me what else i could use them for..

you can veg anytime you like. keep in mind your plant will doublr or triple during flowering. i say keep that in mind and grow it as big as possible. you could try topping tieing down supercroping and etc to increase yeild.
