But u get a pal for life also. If I may recomend you a dog, I'd say a Doberman pinscher, maybe get 2-3 of them. Some of ya'll gonna say "Pffft a Doberman pinscher, hahaha that small dog can't do nothing", I'd say it makes the best watch dog ever. You can't find any more alert dog and it's always on watch and I mean always + they keep yer yard free from rodents 
I know u probably won't get a dog...this was mostly for fun

I like your idea of polycarbonate roofing, but isn't that pretty expensive? I went to home depot and that stuff (lexan was the only brand they had) was 63 bucks for a 4x4 sheet, if I remember correctly. that would make the roofing (what, 14x8 total?) ummmm... like 441 dollars or something. that's more than half budget! haha. I'll surf through the whole thread later. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I really like your idea. I think that's awesome that you actually ran a breaker box on it.

Yea, a Doberman is on the top of the list. My cousin has a couple of them, great dogs man.
Yea, they have those panels too.
No I bought the suntuf panels in the corrugated panel section.
They are made out of the polycarbonate material and run about $20 for a 2 by 8 foot panel.

Small dog? Every Doberman I've seen stood about waist high and could give a pitbull a run for it's money in a fight. Am I thinking of the wrong kinda dog?

My bad! I misstaken the miniature pinscher to be named doberman pinscher in English
I ment for him to get 2-3 minature pinschers like this 1 I promise you, nothing goes by these dogs, I mean it they notice everything sleeping w one eye open, hehe!
