those corrugated foam closures are commonly called "gators" and have very strong adhesive on one side nd are keyed on the ends to help prevent shrinkage
for corrugated panels they are a must have for butt ends-
although i'm not sure they make them for the light weight porch panels you are planning on using (they have more of a curve than a rib?)
i have built a green house before (post frame) and the customer used clear acylic panels that were pretty thick, not sure where he got it but it was great material, you could walk on it on the roof with purlins @ 2' on center
it had a rib like pole barn tin

here is an idea I dont know if you have. However at lowes they makes these out of wood for a substantially less amount of money. Like 10 dollars I think most. Also they are long. YOu line the top of the greenhouse with these strips and they have grooves to put the corrugated panels on so that there are no cracks. However make sure you seel them if you use wood as they warp in the weather. GL. I apolgise if yu know this already.

I looked at the link, I have something similar to those strips. Not the foam but ridgid plastic kind. I didnt know the ridge cap needed them between the panels though. Thanks for the link

Yea this is much more lightweight. The panels are more of a rib then a curve. Heres some shots of what I plan on using for the roof.










I got this trim for where the panel hits the siding.









I realy want to use a material I found called solexx for the side walls instead of the white panels that alow 45% of the light through It allows 75% of the light through and is insulated. I found a guy about an hour away that has a couple. $60 ea for 4x8 panels.

that bottom trim you used is called z trim or just z metal and is what you will need for the sky lights

z metal huh? ok. good to know what its called. I just wonder around home depot looking for stuff. Funny thing, most of the time when I find something it is not what it was intended for. At least I was close. lol

Rained yesterday, Didnt get much done. I let the rafter lumber dry out today, probably paint it tomorrow. I got the beam up today. I was about an inch off on the height but I shimmed one side. I'll have to replace that once I get the rafters up.

Yea...84 lumber in Central Florida has a type of pole barn tin that is actually made of thick corrugated polycarbonate similar to thick clear acrylic that i used for hurricane shutters also sold by greenhouse megastore.

Its tough and it held firm through several hurricanes in 2005.

Yea, If I get stoned before I go in Im gone for hours. Just the other day I was like an hour and a half late for dinner. She looks at me and says "Home Depot" I just nod my head and warm it in the microwave. We got a Lowes close to us now! That will keep her guessing.

Yep, I seen that stuff.
I wasnt gonna pay $120 for shipping.
We dont get hurricanes here in Cali but that looks like it will last forever, from what I can tell I got close to that but thinner.

Me too man, Looks like a couple weeks to lift off.
Im starting with established clones this time. Not from seed.

I got the joist lumber all cut and painted today. Got the hangers up to. Just need to set them up there.
Guess I will wait for the paint to dry and get them up tomorrow.

Im diggin it man. Time to break outta the cabs and grow full size plants.
Not exactly a hemp lab like you got but it will do. Im lookin at strains tonight.

Maybe I can get some opinions, I want three tall plants sativa dominate that will get about 7 feet tall and three more indica dominate that will be 4 foot bushes in front.

So six plants that will have about 4 sq feet ea. Yes, I want monsters so Im leaning to skunk mix. maybe a haze. I got plenty of widow left so I think Im gonna stay away from the white strains. Here is the list to choose from.

Cruz! Greenhouse is looking awesome. Very, very cool, I cant say that I am not envious. Personally, I think all those strains look like great picks. I recently tried some blue-cheese, do not pass up the cheese is all I have to say. :) Cant wait to see this all finished.

Just popping by, I can see you've done a lot of progress ;) When you plan to start "using" it, early May?

Nice lineup of strains, just chose what you like and you can move them around accordingly to how they grow :-P or make a "lottery" numbers 1-? and pic as many numbers as u want strains...I hate having so much to chose from, makes me indecisive :-( or let RIU members pick 1 strain each?! :bigjoint:

How about:
Trainwreck, LSD (barney's farm), NL#5 for the back and Budda cheese, NYC Sour Diesel and OG kush for the front.

NL #5 can also grow in front... NL is prolly the funnest strain to grow, imho... grows anywhere indoors, out, grows trees, or bushes. good stuff.

We are gonna start with 12 plants, May the strongest survive.

Everyone pick one plant, I will put a plant marker on it with your name and the strain. Anyone who does not choose a strain I reserve the right to pick it.

OK guys, I got your pics,
There is a minumum order of six so as soon as I get six I will call and check availabilty but I need to know soon cause I wanna veg them indoors for a couple weeks till the 1st.

I guess I can send out pms...
Anyway I got the rafters on today and finished the framing of the roof with the help of my neighbor.

I got just enough clearance so when it does rain it falls on my side... whats that 2x4 doing there, lol
