Sorry for the bad picture. HAd to take it with flash as i just let my plant get some darkness.

Basically im trying a simple grow with CFL, started with 1 27W 2500K and yesterday i added another one.

Ive been happy since i planted it [Last Friday] but now when i started lookin at others plants they looked much better and shorter.
However, i have my plant pointed at the two CFLs and when i turned it around today, it had 2 brown markings on it :( i think it got too hot.

It feels as if everything is lost.... i was really into this... is my plant going to die? Can i still save it? How can i stop the stretching?

I ordered more lights but F*cking Amazon takes a week to deliver. Didnt know that until after order -.-

What should i do :(?

Lights has been on since Friday constantly. I figured out they were weak so...

Zero nutes, only the ones in the soil. Measuring about 21.4 C in the soil right now as the lights are off. Usually its 23....

Cfl are not weak. im doing a CFL grow and you got to keep the lights atleast 2-3 inches away

also are there any nutes in the soil you are using??? and how about a pic of these brown spots....

plus its still young so there is no need to worry so much right now

my youngling had some weird ass growth and its fine now :) she grew out of it all

plus what soil or medium are you using??

I'll take a new picture of it in a sec :)

Im using Pine Bark (Barque)? mixed with compost. About 75% bark and 25% compost. Did a repot yesterday, prior to that i only used compost.

The Pine Bark is nuted with some regular stuff. The Compost though i would say is de-nuted as i poured boiling water through it to remove some ants.
Saved the water and im using it as im watering now! OFcourse i didnt pour the boiling water onto the plant :P haha

Well, im worried. Minutes ago i would sell my house for to get this grow to work X)

Pic is coming!

repotting so early like that isnt good either.. you can stress it by repotting so early.. you got to let it grow more before repotting
and lol like i said there is no need to worry
everybody makes mistakes bro it'll be fine it'll work itself out....

also put your hand over the top of your plant and see if its too hot on your hand
if its too hot on your hand its too hot for your plant.

I constantly put my hand there. It didnt seem to hot, i imagined it as feeling the sunlight in your face on a regular summers day. About that hot :)

Im using car reflector, like... some windshield, not shure. But its not regular kitchefoil i guess!

well im not sure about the reflector cause it can create hotspots and burn the plant.... but if its not aluminum foil u should be ok. im not an expert so maybe someone else will hop on and suggest somethings...

but yea if the lights are hot on your hand at the top of the plant when you test the heat than its to hot for the plant
the nutes could be a factor as well... not sure like i said im not an expert so xD im only on my 2nd grow but i have learned alot on this website

Well, thanks for calming me down ;) Would love to have someone other look at it aswell. If its nute burn or sunburn, im not shure. Im more noob then you at this :P I just want to be shure at whats wrong so i can fix it, if its light, soil, reflector etc.

Got any growjournal? nice :) as you can tell this is my first grow.

I say nute burn......when I do a soil grow I start with seed starting soil I get from lowe's or walmart, it has little to no nutes in it. Once plant is bigger I add the soil with the nutes.....also, are you ordering cfl's from amazon ? I know they have great deals there but walmart, kmart, grocery store or dollar store wouldve done just fine. Also, the 1 cfl you have going is fine for now. If it does die off, try a soil with little or now nutes to start your next grow. Good luck

Yeah i ordered a couple of 6.500K 23W. Will make it 5 CFLs 2x6.500k and 3x2.500k all 23w. Thank you very much :) I hope it will survive!
I didnt add any nute liquid or anything, but i guess maybe the compost was too nutritious.
I had 2 bulbs on it since yesterday, i guess ill just light a single one up then. If its enough :)

Amazon, yeah -.-

First off, you want that 2700k spectrum to flower, or WITH some 5000k/ 6500k to veg.
Next, pack some of that soil junk up around the stem to help support it, and rotate your pot so it quits trying to grow towards the light.
I am going to predict that soil mix, whatever it is will make life rough on you for a while, but I wouldn't uproot it and disturb it yet.

................. filling out spce
Don't worry about the little discoloration on the cotyledons, just don't feed for at least 3 weeks.

I constantly put my hand there. It didnt seem to hot, i imagined it as feeling the sunlight in your face on a regular summers day. About that hot :)

Sunscreen works fine, I used one once.

Haha your plant is not that badly stretched, I have plants I started in soil that had stem nearly half again that size, and they are growing outside now, the internodes are about 2 to 2 1/2 inches between each. No need to worry about this as your plant gets older you can top, lst, super crop to make it not stretch as much upwards but outwards, or where you want it to go.

also your soil should have some more aeration, when you transplant I'd recommend buying some vermicite or perlite and adding to the soil. Don't be to keen to add so much light until you get your first set of fan leaves also, seedlings are very sensitive and don't really need to much light, that's why most people grow them under t5s or fluros till they are around the second or third fan leaves before moving under a mh or hps light.
