Whenever I use the land-line phone at my house, when you click the 'dial' button to make a phone call, you can hear it make a noise that is hard to describe really.
anyone ever tried one of those things you can get from spy equipment shops.. its some kind of counter-surveillance tool that allows you to check your landline phones for bugs/tracers. They also have ones that you can wear out in public that comes with an ear-piece and alerts you if someone around you is wearing any kind of mic/recording device - rather it be video/audio or just audio to record you.. the detection tool will alert you via ear-piece.
But yeah, anyone ever tried one of those tools to sweep phones with.. to check if its bugged or being tapped?
get a cord phone. they normally tap wireless signals. for a cord phone they would have to go to your home and fuck with your wires outside. cell phones dont even think you'll ever be safe. i had an electronics class years ago and a guy from the cell company was showing us some shit. he had this machine thing the size of a backpack they use for troubleshooting signals or something like that. he was taping into peoples conversations like it was nothing. he said they're not supposed to do this but he wanted to show us what he could do. he also did work for the company though. this was also almost 10 years ago when cell phones were not nearly as popular. think of what they can do now. just dont ever use phones for private shit. talk only in person.

Depending on where you live, it could just be out dated wiring. If you live in a small town that is still using DSL lines from 10+ years ago, that could be your issue. Some smaller market phone/cable companies will not upgrade outdated lines until there is a serious issue...

lol ... I love some of these .... I'm really trying to work on my paranoia ... I swear I am .... I just can't help it ... I'm so not the jail type . Mostly habit from my younger wilder days i think tbh ... kinda like how I still get paranoid if a cops get behind me.. I can be perfectly legal with nothing in the car ... yet it still fucks me ... go figure............

forgot to mention i hear clicks a lot on my cell phone. i dont worry about it. they can go ahead and trace my phone. i follow state law. feds already seen my state legal grow at one of my patients house from a search warrant unrelated to me or pot. they were cool with it and even gave compliments. they would be wasting their time. if you follow your state law, you shouldnt worry either. if you're breaking the law and worried about your phone being tapped, then stop breaking the law.

sure did but kept very low key. still a lot of paranoia though. but as far as phones we used to speak in code to where it sounded like a legitimate conversation. sold a lot of 'car stereos' back in the day.
i did get popped like 10 years ago before med laws but our courthouse is very lenient for first time offenders. got off on community service. i also had no record whatsoever, worked full time, went to college part time, so it looked good for the judge. and our judge is a pretty good guy himself if you dont piss him off.
on a side note, if you're doing anything illegal, always keep some bail money handy. not many friends or relatives have a couple grand in their back pocket.
i see a lot of it as karma. be a good person, dont fuck people over, do a little for this fucked up piece of shit society we live in even though we hate it anyway. eventually the good comes to pat you on the back.

I don't know why people are so afraid of people following you, listening in or trying to hack your computer ... Let em, what's gonna happen? Worst case scenario you are on a one hour phone call with your bank "Cancel all accounts, I was hacked, everything after (insert date here) was not me" .... done
Contrary to popular belief .... most pot heads are not even close to being on anyones radar for anything, much less to kill them lol.
