ok so throughout the day my grow room temperatures can reach up to 91 degrees, but theres a fan circulating air the whole time the light is on. so my question is...is that temperature going to harm the plants and or delay is maturing process in any way

is growing in hydro so the roots always stay moist

someone let me know asap if its to hot for my plant and anyways of cooling it down

thanx

yeah thats to hot, and yes it will slow the growth quite a bit, right around 78 is best and it is said that growth slows at 85 dramaticly, if i were you i would add some vent fans or air cool your light if its not already, another way is to run your lights at night, or at least use the off time when the temp is the warmest, im in veg right now so my light cycle is from 6 pm till noon, so my lights are off from noon till 6, it also has the advantage of running mostly off peak times so there is considerable cost saving also

air cool it...does it have round flanges on ur hood...if it does hook it to dryer flex venting...and run it to and exhaust fan , then up and out..that 400 shouldnt take much to get in check..not a whole lot at all..but u must do something.. like said earliar get it down below85

Is there going to be much difference if you run your lights 24/0 or 18/6. I did a grow with 24 hour veg cycle and seemed fine but I'm not sure if im going to get much different results from an 18/6 cycle.

i have a 400 watt hps and my temps reach 91-92 on hot days and they still continue to grow an inch a day. most of the time its about 87 with the lights on and it dosent hurt them at all. the light is about 12 inches from the tops if that helps. but if you can try to keep it under 90 and youll be just fine.

thats not optimal growning conditions, lettn it crawl into the 90's sure a few people will say they see no negitive impact soaring in2 those temps...but optimally u want to be @ 75 f w. lights on..slight drop w/ off.. u might no c the impact...but u will compared to the guys harvest that stayed where he was supposed to with his temps..

the worst affect will be on your buds. I flowered at that that temp thinking they wud be fine. Lol, not fine. The buds get all stringy and "not there" as the only way I cud describe it. I got a cool hood and a big fan. Have not has to use the air yet.
