my idea.....crop every month.... constructive criticism

currently i have 7 plants which i am about to take clippings from and make clones. then im going to switch up my nutrients and start flowering. Right now i have one 600w HPS and a 125w cfl on the side for some extra help.

The plan:

basically i want to cut a crop down each month. i got a whole room for my setup. right now i got the 7 plants about to flower. Im gonna make clones from that....i have a tank for the clones.

im gonna dip the stems in clone hormone and putting in cubes. i have a cfl on these also. i plan on spaying 2-3 times a day.

my next zone i want to be my veg space. right now ive been veg/flowering in the same spot with same light. im gonna buy another light for my new zone the veg zone.

then my next step is going to be upgrading my main flowering area to hold twice the plants. i plan on having a crop each month so in the flowering room im going to have 2 groups flowering. one that will be one month in and the new group i add from my veg room.

so the rotation should go in clone box 1 month then into veg room where it stays for one month. then always at the end of veg take clippings to replace clones.

In the flowering room i will have one batch to cut down and one that is one month into flower. i will take the plants that just got done vegging/made clones and will put them where the crop that i just took out was.

then the next month i do the same thing. cut down move from veg to flower room make clones. other clones into veg etc. so each month i can crop about 6-8 plants.

im sure i lost a lot of people i just smoked and rambling on cause im excited about my plans.

also my plans for my main flowering area is either going to be 2 600w hps or only 1 hps on a rail. whats best?

You're talking about a perpetual harvest - sometimes known as Sea of Green or SOG.

I've got a similar set up - I've got 6 plants in flower, each 2 weeks apart.

Every 2 weeks a new one goes in and an mature one get cut down.

Wow, what a novel idea? What is the medium/method you are going to use? I know your excited, so was I, still am once a month. The rotation you are describing will work fine if the strain you are growing, Just Smoked, flowers in 8 weeks. Pulling Weeds, you are describing a 12 week flowering period, and the way you are doing it is not a SOG. You have plants at different heights under 1 light. That is the opposite of a SOG. Nothing wrong with it, its inventive and fits your space, its just not a sog grow. VV

No I don't do SOG, but many SOG grows are done as a perpetual harvest. I was mearly pointing out that there are many ways to do a perpetual harvest - big plants or little plants, monthly, weekly etc....

It's all about getting the variables (such as plant size, number of plants, veg timing, etc) dialed in for the space you have and effort you can provide.

I have 4 batches of 12 2 weeks apart under 2 1000 W HPS and get app. 4 oz. every 2 weeks. enough to keep us and a friend or two smokin'. Good luck with it.
