My Jack The Ripper

I got it 12\12 from seed and I have no clue how long its been flowering.
It got some leaves removed to let light penetrate.

99% organic (the potting mix I got in there had some Osmocote in it, I pulled some out but some were left. What was in there has been used already probably).
I water with AACT every few weeks and beside that I use dechlorinated tap water.

Light is a 400W. Do you think I should switch to my 600W now?

PLEASE Stop removing leaves that how your plants gets it's energy & stay with what works unless you have extra money hanging around stick with the 400

If you have a larger light ready to use then you definitely want to take that route before you think about removing leaves for light penetration. That's pretty obvious, you should probably also consider some LST action on that girl if you are really that worried about light penetration. Great choice in strain and good luck man!

I got a 600W ready anyway, its not that much more money.
If I won't remove SOME leaves the plants beside the JTR wouldn't grow properly.
I'm running a SCROG and I mainly pluck upper leaves to allow some penetration to the bottom parts.
I got some fan leaves on the bottom and quite a bit of bud leaves and smaller fan leaves.

I got a SCROG running instead of LST, I find it easier to manage.
I only pluck leaves that obviously shade some bud spots. I had good results before using this method before.

I started plucking leaves 2-3 weeks ago and she looks pretty good to me - no sign of any stress (except one time that she got too dry).
Is there anything particular I should watch for? Anything the plucking should directly cause?

Yeah, I'd say switch it up to the 600w if you've got it. It'll create more heat which you'll have to vent, but you'll have a higher yield. JTR is a fine strain, can't wait to see how she does for ya!

Oh yeah, don't worry too much about the leaves, I prune the hell outta my plants at the bottom, because its always just small popcorn nuts, and that energy could go into the main buds. Just don't go too crazy with the plucking and she'll be fine.
