how long have they been showing?
I found 2 on Droopy (the eldest & tallest) a couple three days ago. A few more have popped up throughout the plant over the past 2 days.

The youngest (named shorty by mi amigo) got a few just a day ago (thats when i noticed them)

and the Middle one aka purple one (named sweetness by that same friend) lol.......started getting a couple a day or so ago. But i've seen what looks to be a hair but its just coming out of the middle of two shoots meeting at the stalk not an actual preflower.

Heres the shots of the preflowers

The actual thing coming out of where the preflower should be, looks like the small circle when you look at it from the side

And last but not least; Droopy

wow man they are absolute beautys great job
Thank bro. After the way they started i was kinda nervous. I've never grown anything before!

This one of the reasons the veg stage is so exciting to me! They just explode and grow so quickly! So green and purty!:blsmoke:

HHM~~~TLB
I agree! But its gotta be even crazier in flowering!?!

Any idea on the sex? I still think its a little to early.

Oh yell, now they're sterting to grow. That look so good nice and bushy. I think they like the soil. I'll have to look back and copy the mix.

Im with ya on the thought that it is a bit early! How long have you been flowering again?
They are still in veg. I didn't want to flower until 10-12 inches.
Droopy is just about a foot, the middle one is 9 5/8", but the young one is only a little over 7" So should i wait or just go ahead with it this weekend?

Oh yea Im stoned!! lol just posted how much I love the veg state here! lol Ok well if you are in veg you will not be seeing any sex showing, what you are seeing is probably new growth! means more bushyness and that kicks ass.... If I remember right it took about 2 weeks into 12-12 light schedule to be able to tell sex on my plants

LOL i forgot about that too! And i just repeated myself on your journal toO! Hey lets smoke another!!!!

I think i'm just a little nervous. I guess since Bob dropped his nuts so quick, it was like overnight, i'm just overcautious. but one thing i did notice.....I think if any Droopy may be male, interesting enough it was the most pungent plant throughout vegging. If it is a dude i'd be interested to see if that has any correlation.
Actually i want to be completely wrong and have 3 sexxy bitches!

looking great there waffles...if you really want to know sex before you flower, take a small clone from the bottom, put it in a cup of water, and put it under 12/12...you will know pretty quick then, and if you plan on cloning, you will know your females and can still take clones before flowering...check out my new journal btw...I didn't start from the beginning, but you and hhm are the only ones who wanna look at sprouts.....lmao

plants look great. one note about switching to 12/12 ... it is far better to wait to switch to 12/12 until after the plant preflowers since yield will be greater. BUT - plants at least double in size (sativas seem to never stop growing) most plants triple in size after switching to 12/12 so you have to compromise if you have limited vertical grow space.

also - there is no height requirement. If the stem is strong enough to hold massive buds it doesn't matter if it is 3 inches tall or 30 inches tall. The number of nodes (at least 7 or 8) is more important than height and the ability for the plant to hold large buds is most important of all (in my opinion).
