My K.I.S.S cloning method...

I'm lazy! I like things to just happen. Keep It Simple Stupid is my mantra. Now i don't expect to revolutionize the cloning of weed here, but i really like what i'm using to clone (for once) so if it helps anyone else clone easier with less effort, well cool.

All i did was take two 1gal tubs, light proof the bottom one, put a 1" layer of hydroton in the bottom, and each clone is in its own net pot filled with rock wool...

(I've got 2 seedlings in there as well as clones)

...mounted in the top tub is a single mister, hooked to my home tap water line, and the water pressure is all the power i need. I have a single solenoid valve inline, hooked to a timer, it opens the noid and mists 7 seconds every 7 minutes. No pump, no res. All i do is clip um, put um in there, they grow fuzzy roots in around 9 days off just 300ppm tap water. They never wilt even a little after clipping them now either. I don't even find it necessary to clip the tips of the leaves anymore since perspiration isn't a problem what with a gentle rain coming every 7 minutes. Done! :)

good work. many will not have the tools or know how to reproduce your setup.

The timer is linked, the noid is linked, you can get any volt noid you want, and the timer handles a range of volts. I chose 12v because i have a backup, incase power goes out ladies still get watered, but easiest way would be to wire the timer right to the wall, and buy the 110v version of the noid. Any mister will work, just make sure the line you run off the tap is rated for high enough PSI, i used 1/4 JG tubing. Done! :)

300ppm isn't far from shit imo. i won't drink it, but plants love it, i think its got just enough of what they need, but yea depends on your water a bit. maybe the idea gives someone an idea :)
