I love the Katsu for looks and high. But yield is significantly less then pre98 but it makes up for it I guess. I love smoking the Katsu but personally I don't think I'd ever grow it.Here is Dr. Green Thumbs Bubba Kush (Katsu Cut)

Yah your not gonna have very fun with that set up... get a canon that has tungsten mode to get a better overall colorAnyone have any advice on video taping your room with the lights on using an iphone?
Comes out like shit. I also use magnetic ballasts and someone told me that is the reason.
It will be almost impossible with magnetic ballasts. You will always see those lines streaking across.Anyone have any advice on video taping your room with the lights on using an iphone?

Or you can invest in better ballasts...magnetic are old school. Effective for sure but old technology...Thanks folks. Looks like im gonna have to invest in a better camera soon.
While digital ballasts are awesome, I run digi's personally...Or you can invest in better ballasts...magnetic are old school. Effective for sure but old technology...
yeah magnetic leave those lines on pictures.. I have one but I only keep it around as a back up.It will be almost impossible with magnetic ballasts. You will always see those lines streaking across.
Did you guys ever hear about that radio frequency interruption digi ballasts were supposed to create?? i never had that problem and I keep my home's wifi router and modem in the grow room. People were complaining that digi ballasts were interrupting their neighbors wifi and shit and the cable company would come lock their cable up until they could find the problem. While digital ballasts are awesome, I run digi's personally...
Magnetic is supposed to be the most reliable.
That's back when they first came out, they fixed that problem.Did you guys ever hear about that radio frequency interruption digi ballasts were supposed to create?? i never had that problem and I keep my home's wifi router and modem in the grow room. I'm not surprised... without getting into it too much there is a ton of induction put off by anything with electricity, it must just have been at a harmonic frequency that interfered with the wifi routers: pretty cool actually (from a nerd standpoint)Did you guys ever hear about that radio frequency interruption digi ballasts were supposed to create?? i never had that problem and I keep my home's wifi router and modem in the grow room. yeah thats what a lot of growers were scared about with digi ballasts, there were rumors that if a police officer drives by your house at lights on his radio will pick up interference from the ballasts. Again this is old news, I'm just starting a friendly conversation.I'm not surprised... without getting into it too much there is a ton of induction put off by anything with electricity, it must just have been at a harmonic frequency that interfered with the wifi routers: pretty cool actually (from a nerd standpoint)
I had a radio station in my old truck that would basically hint me off to anything high wattage ... for instance you pull up to a stop light and you would hear an electronic pulse when the hand flashes, or a change in frequency between red and green lights... my favorite is the tall halogen lamps people buy with the light fader ... you can actually hear the intensity of the induction rise as the power input also increases (from over 100 ft away)
So yah before someone starts to misuse this information I'll stop now
It's not paranoia, I've physically experienced the phenomenayeah thats what a lot of growers were scared about with digi ballasts, there were rumors that if a police officer drives by your house at lights on his radio will pick up interference from the ballasts. When the digi ballasts first came out there were some problems but now they have those corrected.I've always been told that to air on the side of caution and if you grow in homes its best to use Magnetic.
