My little grow

It's a tiny grow but it's all I can do these days. I used to grow in a bigger open room, nothing large, 12 to 16 plants usually and sold the rest.
I'm retired from everything now and just grow for myself the past 2 years now.

A few months ago or so I went to the hydro shop to get some pro mix. They were out of almost everything! I saw a bag of coco loco, lol and bought it.
I know I know, I always used to wonder why people would grow in part coco and part soil but it was the only thing I recognized. It looked organic from the bag writings.
So I added more worm castings to it, more garden lime, azomite, One Shot from Nectar for the gods, mycos, recharge...that's about it. Watered with distilled water since my water here is florked up! Only adding some mag sulfate and k sulfate here and there as needed for flavor.

Oops forgot, also alfalfa meal top dressing, one time.

And running 2 hlg 300 L quantum boards. Used light meter to even light intensity out best as I can. And agro pure uv 15 minutes a day for a while, not the whole time.

Very nice....Benn doing it 50yr........l find about 9-12 plants keeps me busy nowadays.....enough for me and mine and Ican turn on close,real friends(not that many). Real pretty,........ain't your first night ought......lots of fun but don't have the "juice" l use to......those gals can keep ya busy.......NICE BUDS!
 
I used to grow vert with a bare 1000 watt hps, great yields, but it is such a pleasure not to have to flork with a bunch of plants anymore. 3 or 4 is perfect for me.

Almost the same here but only been growing indoors 35 years. I'm 65.
 
Oops spelling era....."been vs. Benn........no space in "I can"......don't wanna get crucified upside down by pouncing grammar secret police......all the blood rushes to my head when they do that, gives me a pain in my ass.

Man.....that was quick.....and you are absolutely right.....3-4 plants is nice size grow.....ya can real give those ladies some attention and tlc........produce a nice quality, "sculpted plant". In 35 yrs ya learn a lot. You like me didn't have the amount of info....it was a self-teaching, trial and era, era........growing indoors......sexing plants.....tossing away shitloads of males........t-12 fluorescent lights............chance of prison(always kept my yapper shut about grow room). Quite a different "ballgame". Good talk.....I was born in 53.....still love that stick shit! LOVE growing it.

Btw, I forgot to say thank you for the good words!!

It's interesting that folks from our generation had such similar experiences. Believe it or not, aside from my priceless notes I took at the time, I learned a lot from reading High Times and ask Ed in particular lol.

Got 12 going....can really get me running my as off....the autoflower, I usually don't, grow are pretty easy to care.
 
Took the main off the lower left plant in the pic (Sundae Dough) and now waiting for the lowers to ripen a bit more.
