Awww...how cute LOL!

I got one of these little 5-gallon HDX totes, and made a mini bubble cloner out of it. It's nice and compact, and seems to be doing great with these two Jack Herers! I've got pucks covering the other holes, but I'm going to come up with something a little better. The holes are big enough for rapid rooters, but once they get saturated they need a little support from a toothpick.

A fan blowing off the humidity isn't helping anything. Fresh cuts especially should be under a soaked dome for the first few days with a daily exchanging of the air. Clones are literally surviving through their stomata on what little leaf matter you keep on them, which shouldn't be much in the first place.
But that's very cool man!!!

I inadvertently caused a little confusion LOL! Those are actually seedlings in Rapid Rooters. Two of the four seeds didn't make it, so I took some cuttings a few days ago from a JH I was already growing.

My clones are in my propagation tray, on the floor below the cloner, but will move to the cloner once rooted...then into the tent

. The seedlings are under a t5 hood, while the clones are under a single ambient t8.

Funny you say that because I never use a dome. I also leave a fair amount of leaf matter on, I just snip flowering parts if I take cuttings into flower. I also give them a light dose of nutes. Every once in a while I will mist them with epsom, but that's just to keep them fresh and not fade in color.

Not going against what you're saying to be a dick, just saying that there's a few ways to do it... none of which are wrong.

I do the same thing, leaving the dome off, when I've got actual clones in the cloner. I'm just using my propagation tray this time because the cloner is being used for early veg, and the light is way too bright. I mist mine as well

Like you said, there are several ways to do this. I usually take soft stem cuttings, with new growth started.

Yea, the woody parts don't root as quick.

I'm just glad to see people growing, no matter how they do it. It's like art in many ways.
