you're quite right, the amount of racism needed to make a supreme court nomination all about race is incredible, and yet the right has managed to supply that much racism, for so long, that in order for the make up of the court to be even close to equitable compared to the population of the country, they do indeed have to make the nominee a black woman, to even begin to make amends for the centuries of racism, misogyny, and hate that have kept black women off of the bench
