Ok. That's good. Chopping lights out right before lights on there will be more terpenes.
I'm sure you have heard of people leaving thier plants in so many days of dark before cutting. I don't believe any of it except for one thing. An extended dark time would theoretically raise terpene levels.

These look interesting. I store my bud in large Folger's coffee plastic containers, which hold anywhere from 4-7 ounces. Which grams size do you think I need per container?

The thing I've learned with boveda is that you need to be in range already or close for it to maintain.
Meaning if you overfill a jar with overly dry bud the the normal amount of boveda won't do its job.
Other thing is some think it absorbs your smells. I don't really think that is happening.
If you use a standard quart mason jar
Fill it from 1/2 to 3/4 full and add 1 small boveda.
They have larger ones you can decide which is right for you when you order.
I have used these and failed because of what i mentioned.
When I used correctly to maintain they were fine.

My best crop was hung to dry in 60-65F 60RH and left there to cure for about 3 weeks. Never jarred until it came down. I've never been able to match it with a 7-10 day dry and jar curing. If I had better environmental controlsin my drying area, I'd stop jar curing completely and just use them for storage.

I've got the big 62% boveda packs in gallon jars, works great for storage. But like I said earlier, my drying space is kept at 70f 60%rh, IDK how well they'd work if I was putting drier material in the jar.
The packs also end up smelling like the strain that's in the jar with them. It's about $20 for four of the big ones, enough for four 1 gallon jars.
I tried using small jars and burping them but that didn't work for me because I'm busy, so the solution was the most hands off one I could come up with which was to just adjust the environment until it didn't matter how long they were hanging for, and I can take my time dry trimming.

I do that all the time, shut off the timer/lights after the last photoperiod and let them sit a day.
Then I may trim one or two plants a day so I'm not tied up trimming for 12 hours.
The others stand in the dark until I'm ready to invest another couple hours of trimming. The only downside is they get stickier and harder to trim in the dark. They stick to your shirt like velcro after a couple days.
I'm really surprised that people are getting buds that don't ooze stench. I have had certain strains that were low odor, they didn't smell as intense, but you'd still smell something. Most of them stink. I open jars to burp and the wife says what are you doing down there?
When I first got into growing outside like 100 yrs. ago, the weed smelled like straw because I just dried it ASAP. There were no books or internet, you did what the other guys did. I didn't even hear of intentional curing till the '90's.
Now that I think about it, most weed didn't have much of a smell in the early-mid '70's. People looked for weed that had a good taste, not smell.

Got a Romberry coming in a week or so, I'm going to cure half my old way in the Tupperware, and half in the Jars
No more Boveda packs either, will post results back eventually cuz I'm sick of losing all the scent too Karah!

I spend more time with the weed once its in jars than any other time. Its a constant moving target.
From using hygrometers I was able to actually know where they are so I can adjust.
I was pretty surprised how much my guessing was off.
When I commited to slow dry
Using hygrometers and constantly checking and adjusting my problems stopped.
I think all phases are critical but If I had to pick the phase where I pay full attention its dry and cure.
My main concern is smell, flavor n smooth smoke.
Potency can be fixed by smoking more and you will want to smoke more if its right.

I did,
I found them on amazon i think and i hot glued the face because gluing inside messed up the seal.
Ill try to post a link.
Also one of them messed up immediately.
I checked them against a digital and it was close enough for me.
I love just glancing and not having to open the jar to dig for a digital
