My mothers need a HOME!!!

I have lowered the light in my grow for 45 clones i've taken and my mothers are sitting off to the side. In short time i want to set my 1000W HPS to flower 12/12 but I need to give my mothers a good home 24. Please help me figure out some place safe for them!

I am looking at the closet presently- covering it with poly and using bathroom exhaust fans at bottom to bring air in and at top to pull air out. The black pipe is the exhaust and the silver section sucks air. And of course I'd poly all around them

Does this look effective to continue veggin them 24/7 for clones? Should lights be above/side etc? I'd appreciate some help!

why not seal the closet opening with that insulation foam boards, the stuff is cheep. then cut a hole the size of your bath fan exhaust and mount it to the wall just inside. or just black/white

Thats a good idea, those polyurethane insulation boards are large and under $10 usually. You could get a bathroom exhaust fan and mount it in a hole you cut in the foam, though i suspect you are using the exhaust fan differently than the input because those fans only blow one way no matter the polarity of the plug. I think I might use that idea...

Are you saying one large sheet? how would i get in and out? :P

on the air i could mount the exhaust fans so one went in and the other out- I just wonder if you think that will be sufficient air flow?

Also please comment on two cfls- enough to keep them alive and thriving?

thanks

make a door in it. i have basicaly done this with my one of my veg cabinets, i can show some pic`s if ya haven`t seen them.
2 light s will work but may be slow growth, but if you dont need babies in a hurry then it should be ok. i wouldn`t say thriving but alive.
i would put one fan in and one out, like you said, and a small room fan

after i built my front of the dresser with foam i mounted a piece of wood wall panel and then my dresser doors so it lookrd original. i can take other pic`s or draw something up for ya if you like. you need to get this working finaly.

the first is the outside closed

doors open

this one shows the silver tape arounnd the inside of the opening. that is foam, i am going to add some small strips of wood behind that to give it a backing.
my foam would fit inside the opening just right, then you could just mount a larger one on the outside of that inner one. then it wouldn`t push through and give you something to grab to open.
like i said i can draw up quickly something that would work for you. my roomy did the same set up as you but i dont have pictures of it anf we took it down.

this is my flower room. the white is the plastic qwraped around the foam board ( 1 piece) then the second is with the door open. i have wood strips around the uoter edge to give it a lip to seal against. under the door is my intake with black screen to block light. then holes through the foam raised floor to let the air into the room
