Friend of mine grows legally as do I, he helps me a ton with my grows. He told me that one day the cops showed up because the neighbor was beating his lady and came down to ask him some questions about what he heard, loud argument, to get more info. My friend we will call him Mr Green, had a few people over getting meds, hanging and and smoking inside. After the cops had questioned them about the domestic violence call they where their for one of the cops turned Green and said "Now lets talk about the weed smell coming from you apartment and everyone here". Mr Green and everyone else pulled out there medical cards and presented them to the officer. After looking at each one the officer gave them back and said "Ok have a nice day, no one is driving soon right?" and that was that, they went about their business and have not been back.
I have my own medical bud and police story. I was going into a local medical club to get some smoke, I go there fairly often. Well this time there was 3 police cars parked out front and 4 maybe 5 officers and they where talking to a patient I had seen in the club in the past. At first I was like Oh Shit they are busting people as they come out or just busted the club. The club is totally legal I might add and even has hired security. I was like fuck it and walked right past the cops and into the club. 5 minutes later I was done and walked right past the cops again with my meds in hand. They did not even look twice at me the whole time.
If you are legal and following the law you are fine and they cant and wont mess with you. One of my in laws is a police officer and I smoke at family functions and he does not care, says if you are not breaking the law do as you please. If the cops show back up and dont have a warrant then you dont have to let them in your home no matter what so dont let them pressure into letting them in to "look around" or "talk with you". Know the law and if you are breaking it by growing too close to a school then you need to do whatever you must to fix that, be it moving or taking down your grow. If you are with in the law dont let the police push you around know your rights, show them you are a legal medical patient and that if they have a warrant you will be happy to show they around and prove you are legal and within your legal limits. For that to work I cant stress enough that you must be within the legal limits. In Arizona you can grow up to 12 plants per person and have only 2.5 oz of bud. 12 plants will produce a lot more than 2.5 oz, so you need to deal with the extra somehow. For example me and my wife are both medical patients so we can grow 24 plants! If we do though we would end up with more bud that the legal limit so right then we would be breaking the law and could be in trouble.
