All right!!!!
Cool beans man....!!!!
one last note.. if you can, it is better to have a bigger exhaust fan than the intake, as to have a slight vacuum... so that fresh air leaks in...not the opposite...
82F is a beauty compared to the temps you had earlier, but it would be nice to lower it a few degrees more...
I would deff. save up for a real cool tube... they are worth the 90 bucks in gold... in my opinion...
I would look into more durable, stronger fans too...
from now on, the diff will be in the small steps... the fewer turns in the cooltube duct, the better it will work... and the cooler it will run...
good strong positive flow exhaust, matched with 2/3 cfm intake... smooth ducting instead of the slinky type...
COOL TEMPS OUTSIDE THE BOX...are a big way to help cool things a bit...
So you see, you still have a lot you can do to help out your plants... but it will take time to tweak the setup...
I am so glad you are finally at a point where you feek your set up is useable...
Good job on the hood tape over!!! but let's get a real cooltube in there...
Have you seen those bake a round bread pyrex tubes or sale on ebay?
pefect
they sell plastic adapter from 6" to 8" at home depot or you can use straight 6" duct...
maybe even figure out a way to remove your hood and set up that socket a little better for the tube you have... no need to spend extra cash... we need the function... but the $90 ones from HTG rock (that's what I got)
Anyways man.. rock 0n!!! I'm go to sleep now...
Peace..
