Assembly required stand up closet! Whatchya think? And how the FUCK should I set it up?! haha I will be using a 150W HPS and some CFLs. Computer fans with dryer hoses for intake and outake obviously. Someones professional opinion on how to set this up would be GREAT!!! +REP for all who have reasonable answers! The dimensions on this bad boy are-

Width: 47.12"
Depth: 20.25"
Height: 72.00"

I have the SAME closet basically. I just didnt use any of the shelfs inside. Just the 2 side walls top and bottom. Give you more room to grow plants. Drill a hole in top to exhaust the heat. Drill some small intake holes and buy some louvers from home depot for passive intakes. Hang light from top. Get yourself a inline fan with a carbon filter and you will be all set. You chould go with those computer fans sense its only 150w. Mine is a 400w so i am going with a 450cfm inline fan and a fatty carbon filter. GL

Thanks for the tip! :) I actually found a pretty high priced bathroom exhaust (for free), one side had a heat blower and the other side had a high powered fan. I removed the heating element from the heater and it is now also a fan. I was thinking of attaching these to dryer hoses to give an intake to the left bottom side of the cabinet and then an outake fan at the top. I will get carbon filters as well. The one thing I am concerned about, is the cracks around the doors let in alot of light and I'm not sure how to fix this.

I have the same problem. I just put my closet together and noticed it. I am going to be using some weather striping to get all the james and edges. I dont want my grow closet looking like R2 D2 at night. I have herd of people using elec tape on thin areas too. If you have any light leaks from the intake you can make a light trap too.

sounds like the cabinet i wanted to get...what i was gonna do was use my current cabinet as a veg chamber inside the new one which would take up the bottom half. and use the top part as a flowering chamber with a 250 hps.. i think using a big cab like that you should go with a 400 watt though.

LOL. I used to have that closet. Was a heavy fucker to move! Couldn't move it for shit so when we moved we just left it there. lol It was that sturdy. It wasn't like those white closetmaid things that wobble back and forth.

haha yeah its a 209lb big bertha cabinet. since its particle board you can fuck it up pretty easy while its in assembly stage but once its built its like a brick house. I have some weather stripping i'm going to try as well. I might have to adjust the door magnets to fit with the stripping but it should work. :)

I'd love to get a 400W HPS but it's just not in the budget right now. I bought some emergency blankets from Wally World last night to line around the inside of the cab. looks good. I used thumb tacks to hang it up. I will also have some CFLs around the plant as well so it's getting light all around. Do you think I should LST this plant for this cab or do something else? The plant I'm referring to is linked in my sig.
