my new outdoor/indoor vegging set up. gets the job done?

I'm in a tropical climate so I had originally wanted this to be an out door project. However, I have been unhappy with the amount of sunlight my plants have been getting when they were outside and thus decided to bring them inside during veg.

I went to the store tonight and picked up a 6 bulb lamp that seems to do the job. Its currently running 6 20watt 6500k CFLs and the plants already seem happier. Does this look like it will work? Walls are white so it really bounces that light around.

The 1 really sad looking plant on the left was my first terrible attempt at lst (started to late) and its just now starting to bounce back after I untied it.

Its my first grow so any ideas and advice you could give me would be great. I still plan on putting the plants outside in the day, but at least for vegging I want to pull them inside at night and just have them sit under those lights. Think it will be ok?

Inside and back out doesn't work the best. Plants get used to your weak light then get shocked when you put them in the bright sunlight. The best way would be to leave them outside and provide enough light the Sun is free !

My advice for the new grower is this. Les is more. I see so many plants that have been hurt by all the "love" the plants get. Just relax and enjoy your new relationship. Start slow get to know her needs and wants before you go throwing a bunch of stuff at them. Its just like a woman. You dont go nuts on the first date. It takes time to find out what she wants to get good results. Give her what she wants and she will be happy. Do to much and you smother her.

Hum, it seems when I leave them outside they look really unhappy towards about 4pm, like they are not even getting close to the right amount of light. With the little fence I have up to block the neighbors view plus my apartments position to the sun, they are only getting maybe 6-8 hrs of sunlight (direct sun shining bright on them) a day max. Still think I should just let nature do its own thing? Maybe switch to a pure indoor harvest with a new batch?
