Below is a picture of the unfortunately only plant i have going this year outdoor, i did not have any seeds, and could not even find bag seed for some odd reason an what i did find didnt pop, so were stuck with this one plant, which is a feminized seed, i am curious, by the look of this picture, would you say that is sativa or indica dominate.. i live in maryland USA, how tall do you think this plant will get before flowering, and what are my hopes of getting 4-8 ounces from once plant, that was planted the beginning of june, and prob didnt sprout/get true first set of spiked leaves until mid june..

again this picture was just now taken, which is today july 3rd,2012, im curious what you guys opinion would be on indica vs sativa, i know the strain i grew it before, im jus hopin for a sativa dominate plant.. since i only have one plant, as asoon as i can clone, i plane on cloning an hoping to be able to flower outside, plus start my indoor garden again :)

all comments welcome, im only growing in scotts potting soil with perlite, i normally use FFOF but lack of funds this time round but do have there full trio line of nutes, i did not feed yet, will soon i think.. but the scotts has nutrients already

all comments welcome, please lets get a disscussion going here.. ill tell strain wen i get opions, i dont want to let you knowing the strain have an effect on your answer.

T he leaves are wide, so I would think that it is more indica dominant. That being said, I have seen plants change completely when flowering starts and look more sativa. You should have time to get a pretty decent harvest, but I would put it into a larger pot or in the ground for optimum growth.

thank you very much for your response, and yes i am just go going to do that, i jus took it recently and took it from the red solo to this, and the roots werent even at the bottom of that yet, next it will go into the ground or 5 gallon (give or take/bathroom size) trashcan i have sitting outback so its stil moveable, and if the roots get close to the bottom i will put them in the spot i had them last year in the ground.. what are peoples thoughts of that? .. . but yes, this strain is Iced Grapefruit, by X-Line, i grew this strain last year, it did get taller then my nirvana northern lights, i could tell by the structure it was more on the sativa side, as for the leaves, ehh, i dont remember exactly but what i do remember is that they reminded more towards indica but were not soid, kinda like what there showing now, i was to grow me a good sativa plant.. for some reason i love that light green and skinny leaves.. what kinda idea you boys got...

also more on this beginning topic, plus straight

i wanna say sativa but also could be indica, possible mix
I agree with Bob looks like it could be hybrid, but like Cindy also said once they go into flower they tend to change a bit. it looks like yours might elongate a bit and look more sativa dominant as It gets closer to flowering. As for transplanting to either a pot or in the ground, I always try to put mine in the ground. They tend to give a bigger yield but alas that's your decision my friend I still have some in five gallon pots also that will most likely reside there all summer.

People seem to have a bad eye for strains this year. What you have here is probably 60% indica 40% sativa. That being said, you can expect it to get a little bit taller than a normal indica would, with more space between nodes.
